2020: The Year I Claimed My Art
“Challenges lie ahead. But do not get discouraged. You are meant to overcome them. This is the year to claim your art.” My oracle cards spoke loud and clear. As I was flipping through my 2020 journal, I found myself rereading the pages that were written within the first week of January. They were filled with inspirational affirmations and messages from my intuitive readings. I was amazed at the accuracy of these messages but also taken back by what the year truly had in store. If only I knew then, I thought, what “challenges lie ahead.”

The Life Of An Average Student
My name is Rohit Singh and I am an average student from a middle-class family, actually being an average student the big problem is that I think that I can achieve my goal of becoming a doctor, the thing I was to say is that because the environment of my house is just so depressing (in the sense not for studying )that no one can be able to push their limit. The whole family is just so angry with me that even if I say a single word with somebody they just started taunting me and get angry; like this, I got angry too this whole thing is because of the NEET prep which I was trying to crack, I am a dropper of 2 years just studying to crack that exam, but because of the marks, my parents just say that u don’t study and angrily they just say that how can you become a doctor if you are just not getting marks currently I am getting 500/720 but trying to get more but the environment of the house is not for a student, as this is the last year for cracking this exam trying hard to get me there and shut all their mouths and show them that I can be a doctor this is the promise of me to myself. This story of mine till now and now I will not look back and show every person what I can do i. Those who make a joke of me. Those who made me cry, and those who disturbed me during my study .so in this NEW YEAR take a promise to yourself that you will never look back, and become more good day by day.

Night Routine
After a long day of school, it's time to wind down and get comfortable, prepare for the next day. I try not to stress myself out during this time and rejuvenate myself at home. During my first year of college, I knew it was hard for me to have a routine because I was still settling in and getting used to everything. Now that I am a sophomore, I have better time management skills and get a lot done. My night routine is the very last part of my day before I head to bed.

ONDA SKATEBOARDS
We have all had one crazy year, that’s for sure. I personally witnessed my business revenue collapse as a direct result of COVID-19. I found myself lost and depressed and I would like to share how I managed to climb out of this temporary rut.

How to cultivate contentment
For those who may not be familiar, there is a beautiful Sacred text called the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. Within this book, there are many powerful tools for learning how to understand ourselves deeper. How our mind works, how the world works, who we are, and how we can create a healthier life present in each moment. A main portion of the book is Patanjali's 8 Limbs of Yoga. Within the 8 Limbs are the Yamas and Niyamas. These essentially are an ethical map with how we can live life by understanding and living each Yama (Restraint) and Niyama (Observance). These 10 guidelines can be compared to the Ten Commandments of the Christian faith or also the Ten Virtues in Buddhism. Each religion around the world carries moral codes and guidelines giving us an opportunity to choose how we respond in each moment.

We're All Different
We should not make life a comparison game. But we do. I am guilty of it myself. Social status is race related now. People do not make it about income, like they should. They feel that if you are a certain race, you have access to better opportunities. It is a stereotype that has stuck in our minds for so long, it is like a tape recording that is we play repeatedly. I call it the race card. Some people call it that too and say that they got the race card pulled on them.
