Our destiny is for us to do good,

and ultimately, to be with God.

First of all, the meaning of destiny,

it is your final destination where you are going to settle.

There is where you are going to live the rest of your life,

and you will end at that destiny.

The destiny of man prepared by God

is for man to become justified before Him.

Our destiny, the plan of God for us, is to be good,

for us to become good.

Ephesians 2:10.

"For we are his workmanship,

created in Christ Jesus unto good works,

which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."

It was ordained for us to do good,

for us to be good people.

"...we are his workmanship,

created in Christ Jesus unto good works,"

Let me put it this way for you to understand it better.

The destiny of a train is on a railroad.

You cannot run trains on the highway.

Trains are designed to run on a railroad.

When a train runs off its tracks, passengers will get hurt.

The same happens in man.

Our destiny as human beings is to become doers of good.

Which is why our hands, feet, hearts, minds,

our body structures,

these are designed to do good.

The hands were fashioned perfectly by God to do good.

The hands can mold diverse clay pots.

The hands are very wonderful.

The hands can do sculptures.

The hands can do sewing.

The hands can build a house.

All good things can be done by the hands.

But look, our hands are not designed to kill.

You cannot kill with your bare hands,

unless you are well-trained or you studied martial arts.

But with your bare hands, you cannot kill.

Unless you have knowledge about martial arts,

it is unlikely for you to kill someone your own size.

You might kill a child by strangulation.

But picking on someone your own size,

you can hardly kill him with your bare hands.

To kill someone easily, you need a gun, a knife,

or any weapons

because the hands are not designed to kill.

Those are designed to do good.

That is written in Ephesians 4:28. Let us read it.

"Let him that stole steal no more:

but rather let him labor,

working with his hands the thing which is good,

that he may have to give to him that needeth."

Our hands were truly designed to do good.

The word of God says,

"Let him that stole steal no more:

but rather let him labor,

working with his hands the thing which is good,"

Therefore, our hands, our beings,

our eyes, ears, mouths, tongues,

our feet, our entire beings,

these are made by God for us to do good.

We should understand that point.

Our destiny is for us to do good,

and ultimately, to be with God.

To attain glory with God and with Christ,

that is our ultimate destiny as planned by God.

Our destiny is for us to do good.

That is our ultimate destiny as planned by God.

But why are there those who turn evil?

Our destiny is for us to do good,

and ultimately, to be with God.

To attain glory with God and with Christ

is our ultimate destiny as planned by God.

Let us read Ephesians 1:4, Brother Daniel.

"According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world,

that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children

by Jesus Christ to himself,

according to the good pleasure of his will,"

The will of God is He predestinated us to the adoption of children.

He will adopt us as His children which is why He created us.

That is our destiny,

to enjoy life and everlasting life with the Father.

We will be adopted.

But there were those who become evil.

And so, men had the impression that we have two destinies.

That is not true.

There is only one which God wants to be the destiny of all men:

goodness and salvation.

But why are there those who turn evil?

Because they made a wrong choice. They chose drugs.

They are aware that drugs bring harm and can impair brain functions.

Man is fully aware of that now, but he is still into drugs.

They know that meth is brain-damaging, yet they still try it.

So, man becomes misdirected, ends up in error,

he turns out to be in darkness

because we are not guided by the truth.

We are trying, we are proving

even things that we already know which is wrong.

If something is wrong, do not even try it.

You already know that it is wrong.

For example, you already know that you can die of a snake bite,

will you still have yourself bitten by a snake?

Not anymore.

If you have a sound mind, you will avoid being bitten by a snake,

you already know that those bitten have died.

What I mean to say is, once you know what is wrong,

do not even try it or even go there.

There are people who perish, whose destiny...

In fact, it should not even be called destiny.

Their destiny becomes evil

because they are already aware of evil,

but they still head towards it.

So, to your question, is it true that man has destiny?

That is true. But it is not man's destiny to go to evil.

The destiny prepared by God for man is for us to become good

and to be adopted by Him in the end.

"Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children

by Jesus Christ to himself,

according to the good pleasure of his will,"

That's what it says in English.

His intention in creating man,

through Jesus Christ, His begotten Son,

is for Him to adopt all of us.

That is our final destiny

if we are going to abide by what God really wants us to be,

if we are going to obey His will.
