INGREDIENTS FOR SUCCESS

ingredients for success

Whether we like to acknowledge it or not, how other people see us matters. Even more important than the opinions of others are our own. Consider this for a moment. What distinguishes the wealthy from the poor? There is nothing but your own anxiety and insecurity.

Several times it has been remarked that “Americans adore a winner” and that no one cares who finished second. To be told, this man was praying to God every day in hopes of winning the lottery, as the joke goes. The man prayed for weeks on end and finally questioned God why his prayers were not being answered. You ought to at least meet Me halfway and purchase a ticket, God said.

Without deliberate effort, wishing does not necessarily result in reality. You must take a chance on yourself, a leap of faith if you will, and you will discover that the only thing separating those who have from those who do not is the ability to face and conquer these anxieties.

Nothing worthwhile comes to you without effort. I come from the old school of thought that says things don’t mean as much to you if you didn’t work for them as they do if you did. To the same extent in business. Until you locate the precise mixtures of factors that work for you, it could take you a few tries. Simply because the first few or so failed doesn’t indicate you’re a failure; it shows you’re a doer, someone who’s prepared to take risks, and someone who has faith in their capacity to stand and deliver even when odds are stacked against them.

These people are the genuine winners — not because they always succeed, but because they gave it their best shot.

Everyone may occasionally encounter their share of “naysayers” while launching a new business or endeavor. Just refrain from joining them! Saying “I can’t do this” and “I can’t do that” would be far too simple, but why?

Never quit up or give in to pressure from others because if you do, you’ll always wonder and wonder what-if. Nobody ever fails who truly tries. You owe it to yourself to at least try your dreams and visions for the future. According to my observations, the most of the “naysayers” I know have either given up or settled for second best.

Today, I want to launch my own online business and take on the Fortune 100 firms! Pretty straightforward, huh? Of course! Just why not? What do we actually need, in reality? These are just a few instances, but they serve as a decent starting point;

o Desire

o Ambition

o Drive

o A willingness to succeed

o The ability to see loss as a stepping stone to success

The only place I know of where you can compete with corporate America on an equal basis every day is online enterprises, which are fantastic locations for individuals to grab hold of their piece of a dream.

You and your uncanny propensity to shoot oneself in the foot are the only things that can prevent you from fulfilling your ambition. In business, our only opponents are those pesky little voices in our heads that tell us we’re failures and ourselves.

I don’t typically use quotations, but I came upon this one by accident and thought it was really fitting. A sports reporter questioned the late, renowned football coach Vince Lombardy about a defeat his squad had recently experienced. We didn’t lose, the coach said, we just ran out of time.

When you repeat something to yourself often enough, you start to believe it. If you hear something from other people long enough, you’ll not only believe it but also emphasize it. You are not required to be an expert in everything. Surround yourself with people who can offer a skill that your company lacks and that it needs to the table. Andrew Carnegie found success with it, and you will too. We need the fire of defeat and failure to ignite our will to succeed.

Hence, instead of letting failure demoralize us or label us losers, let it serve as a teacher instead, and then move on while never forgetting the lesson.

You are only a loser if you believe you’re as loser.
