The most shortest Bible verse is "Jesus wept". This is the story in John 11. Here records a story of death and resurrection. When we look at the story, we find the very strong emotion of Jesus and the emotion of another two women, Mary and Martha.

Mary is the woman that have very deep love of the Lord. She broke her alabaster jar of perfume and anoint Jesus. When her brother died, she showed a heart broken desparation. She wept before the Lord. And the Lord was deeply moved in spirit and trounbled. Why the Lord wept? It was because of the unblief of Mary. Mary was grasped by the pain and sorrow. However, she lacks faith toward the Lord.

What kind of image should be bring in front of Christ? We need to have faith. If we unite with the Lord and follow this path, God who resurrect Jesus will also resurrect us. The one who believe in Jesus and believe he is the one sent by God need to have faith of the resurrection of Jesus. The resurrection of Jesus will be the resurrection of me. The death will not end with death. The Lord has a firm belief on the resurrection. And this should be the root and foundation for our faith.

The Lord said, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die."

When we follow the word of God and run his kingdom, though we may die we will live. We will reach to our limitation and run out of capacity. When we taste the death of cross to serve and love others, we need to have faith God who resurrected Jesus will resurrect me. We will open a new world after experiencing this. A new world full of hope and brightness will welcome us.

Jesus wept and through why you didn't believe in me? Why you don't have faith in me? Jesus was about to meet the cross and how much he hoped people could build faith in him.

The righteous will live by faith. Faith means believing in a God who will not condemn me but die for me and love me. Faith matters a lot when we walk the path of faith.

Mary didn't truly believe in the Lord. What can we offer to God who created the whole universe and us? God was looking for our faith. When the Lord was about to die on the cross, Peter denied him three times. However after he saw the resurrection of Jesus, the fear of death could no longer grasp him any more. He became so bold. The apostles can sing and praise God in the jails in their journey of spreading the gospel.

"Death, where is your sting?" They have totally broke the power of death. If Satan has the weapon of death to hurt and defeat us, our Lord granted us the most greatest weapon of resurrection to get rid of this. When we have many difficulties, we will have fear and desperation in us. We may have the image of Mary. We may grieve the Lord because of unbelief.

The Lord said "Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?" The Lord prayed to God "Father, I thank you that you have heard me. I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me." The Lord knows God is always be with him and hear him. So he revealed this miracle of resurrecting Lazarus to show us the glory of God.

If we have any weakness or illness or situation like the cross, it is for the glory of God to be revealed. But it calls for our faith. Have you resurrect in your times of cross?
