I Wish Cruelty Would End So Kindness Can Begin To Heal Our World

Kindness and love are the cure for many of our world crises, but they won’t be able to do their job if cruelty and hatred is alive and well in your heart and actions

Our world is in chaos, which is touching all of us in different ways. Humanity’s greed contributing to climate change is creating a heat frenzy in triple digits as people are dying of heat stroke worldwide. The war between Russia and Ukraine is destroying and rerouting lives, living, and humans including innocent children. It’s contributing to rising food prices globally while increasing the pressure on economies and the poor.

Thanks to the condition of our world life has become a personal battle for every human today. — Annelise Lords

I don’t want a lot. My wish is for a better world through kindness. It’s the principal thing that could save billions of lives. Imagine a world where kindness becomes involuntary action. This sunrise and sunset are giving kindness to the Earth without prejudice.

I see the cries of our world today as cruelty. I wished it could end, so kindness can begin, to heal humanity. — Annelise Lords

Bees give kindness to Earth through pollination. Cruelty through climate change is disrupting their generosity.

Mental health issues are on the rise worldwide, as many aren’t reported. Every human on the planet is fighting something. A little bit of kindness can help to ease many mental health crises.

These beautiful creatures are also giving kindness to Earth. Now it’s humans' turn to return the kindness.

By giving more kindness, cruelty will be forced to evacuate the planet. — Annelise Lords

“You guys don’t seem to care anymore,” Jora complains to Lynn and Hilda as they sat on one of many concrete benches in the park, watching their children playing. “We use to meet once a week and help and support each other. Now I am lucky if I see you once a month.”

Nodding, while shoving her pain to the back, where it came from, Hilda shares, “You are the fifth person I hear complaining about the people in your life not caring.”

“It’s true,” Jora agrees.

“Girl, you aren’t aware of what is going on in our world,” Hilda enlightened. “Every human on this planet is battling something. And that has forced many of us into survival mode.”

“I agree,” Lynn adds. “Especially for us with children. Our worries increased and our focus and time are directed towards ourselves, family, jobs, and survival.”

“It’s not that we don’t care,” Hilda adds. “But all of us are struggling to maintain our sanity while fighting health issues, work-related issues, relationship issues, the rising cost of everything, quality in what we purchase. . . . . . . .” the pain of the reality of the condition of our world prevent her from going on.

Lynn reached out and took her hand in comfort, “We care Jora, but right now our survival mentally, emotionally, psychologically, physically, and spiritually is at stake.”

“So, you are saying that because you have to be fighting life and living you can’t find the time to care?” Jora questioned their actions lately.

“Our world is at war with climate, people, food, and everything else. Love and caring will have to wait,” Lynn said.

“Couldn’t we come together and fight?” The pain in Jora’s heart begged.

Lynn’s eyes touched Hilda, who said, “Each of us is fighting different things and using different weapons.”

Silence reigns for a few minutes as each friend battled reality and the truth, their eyes on their children.

Jora asked, “When will it end?”

“When will what end?” Hilda quests, wiping away tears.

“Cruelty. I wished it could end. Our world need kindness now!”

Hilda and Lynn nods, then both reached out to comfort Jora.

I too want to know. When will cruelty end?

Every human on the planet is battling something, and with limited resources, they focus on surviving. Kindness and love are pushed aside to fight for sanity and survival, while mental health issues are out of control, pushed aside, and ignored worldwide.

Many people care, but the current world condition forces most to focus on saving themselves before they can save anyone else.

Yes, to many, this is cruelty.

How did our world get this way?

Please, find the time to care. Caring tells us we are humans. A kind word, thought or idea will go a long way amid the chaos in each other’s life. You can save a life by just caring for a moment.
