Feeling all the Pressure

You decide what happens next.

Where am I headed? An umcomfortable question that many of us have asked ourselves. Not knowing what is coming up down the road can really cause us to make certain decisions that can impact our lives. Making sure that you are safe from the unknown is a great way to stay updated on what you need, and what can be done to stay safely nesseled in your current situation. Although, what happens if your current sitution is hard work that requires many hours out of the day? What happens when other areas of your life seem to be losing that control?

Working under pressure and getting things done no matter what gets in the way is an amazing strength. Although, this may become unsustainable over time. What does working under pressure mean? To many people that may be making sure things happen at any cost, working fast and cutting out time for yourself in order to get the job done. For some that might mean working through the pressure of staying on this so called "built path" because their job offers security and high pay. No matter what the pressure is, that challenge is a real thing. If you know how it feels to carry that weight then you know it's hard to even think about finding balance.

At times, people end up asking themselves where they are headed after they lose something really important to them. When time has played out, and what you thought was sustainable and safe becomes what pushes you away from what you wish you had. Relationships with people become more tense and less understanding. Becoming easily irritable and trying to force poeple to understand you, because flexibility is just too out of reach. Trying to control things or seeming bossy are traits that we have all seen or experienced, but the environment is never ideal. The straw that breaks the camel's back, with just one action or word things can blow up.

The interesting part is that without experiencing hardship and pressure you would never know if that is what you really wanted. Learning happens everyday, especially when you feel frustrated, angry, overwhelmed, or even guilty. Are you going to wait until your true values show through hardship and pressuring for things to work? Or will you start looking at what creates these heavy feelings now? Carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders everyday might push you away from what you truly want. Has what you are settling in been benefiting your life? How much happier do you think you could be if you released the thoughts and beliefs you have been creating?

The hardest part is taking action. Stepping out of your comfort zone and not knowing what will happen is pretty scary. Especially if your fears come from what other people will think of you! Imagine that pressure on top of what you are currently expriencing, and not knowing how that will be received. A new challenge and call many people do not feel capable of answering due to what needs to happen because it's safe. At least you know something about the future and you aren't taking any risks.

A risk can be small or big, it can mean different things to different people. Being more open to talking and conversating can be a risk for someone who is tryng to find love. Expressing what you need to your boss and your perspective can be a risk as well. Holding back in a fight can be a risk when your instinct is to talk back. You are challenging yourself to do something new and out of your comfort zone. Speaking within itself, how you respond is a practice that can start attracting amazing things. Thinking of how you would react and how you want to respond is not natural, but with practice becomes habit. Your voice is a powerful tool, one that can change a person's life. Overcoming it's boundaries and looking at why you stay confined can open the door to finding your voice and how you want to use it to your benefit.

I have found my passion with listening, and noticing, being curious and raising awareness. The awareness of ones own self. What you are experiencing does not define you. Learning about it and changing course to what you truly want inspires me to keep speaking. I enjoy seeing the art that is you, and what you do next. You help me see a deeper side to myself and I want to be able to return that, you are not alone. I could not have learned about myself without you.
