Everybody is online, but no one is connected…
This is not about religion
This is 2025, and I constantly see struggles everywhere. From the smallest frustrations to the overwhelming challenges of the modern world, it feels like struggle is woven into the very fabric of our daily lives. And yet, at no point in human history have we been better off than we are today.
Our quality of life has improved, access to information is limitless, and the opportunities to make money are more abundant than ever. We have more than enough resources, technology, and innovations at our fingertips to lead fulfilling lives.
So why, then, does it feel like we’re losing? Why does it feel like, despite all of this progress, we are constantly failing?

Failure is not an option
We fail, and we fail often. We fail in gratitude. We fail in empathy. We fail to nurture our mental and emotional well-being. We fail in relationships, and worst of all, we fail ourselves.
We’re overwhelmed by the sheer volume of distractions, demands, and pressures we face on a daily basis. We’re constantly moving, constantly striving, and constantly seeking more, but it seems like the more we chase, the further away fulfillment gets. Why is that?
The answer, unfortunately, is simple. We no longer look within; we only look around us. It’s become our default mode — our first instinct. We spend our days scrolling through social media feeds, comparing ourselves to others, and constantly measuring our worth against external markers.
The world is full of curated images of perfection, and we’ve been taught that success is defined by how much we can accumulate, how busy we are, or how much attention we can command. It’s no wonder that we’re left feeling empty, even though we have everything we ever wanted.
Cliché? Yes. But it’s also the ugly truth that many of us don’t want to acknowledge.
Here is were you start
So, where do we begin? How do we change this? What should we follow, and where do we find the right answers?
The quick answer is, you don’t. That might seem counterintuitive, but self-improvement isn’t always about doing more — it can be about doing less. It’s not always about achieving something or adding more tasks to your never-ending to-do list. Sometimes, true growth means stopping.
It means breathing. It means stepping away from the noise, the distractions, and the constant bombardment of external inputs.

We’re often so caught up in trying to solve problems, achieve goals, or get to the next level that we forget the importance of simply being present in the moment. We forget the power of stillness and reflection. But when we allow ourselves the space to just be — to let go of the pressure to constantly be “doing” — we can actually begin to heal, grow, and reconnect with the essence of who we are.
Now, you might be wondering,
“If I need to fix what’s wrong, how can I not take action to achieve that?”
It’s a fair question, but the answer is surprisingly simple: stop comparing yourself to others. Stop spending endless hours on social media, chasing likes, and measuring your success based on someone else’s standards. Start living. Start experiencing life as it is, in all its rawness and imperfection. Start focusing on your own journey, and not someone else’s.
And most importantly, start truly praying again. But wait, before you dismiss this as a religious call to action, let me clarify. This isn’t about choosing a side or aligning with any particular belief system. That choice is entirely yours to make.
This is about reconnecting with your inner self — whether that’s through prayer, meditation, or simply moments of quiet reflection. It’s about finding a space of peace within, where you can truly hear your own thoughts and connect with your deeper purpose.
It's just fair to ask
We live in a world that constantly pushes us to do more, be more, and have more. But in the process, we’ve lost sight of the most important thing: ourselves. We’ve become so focused on external achievements that we’ve neglected the internal work that is necessary for true growth and fulfillment. It’s time to stop, breathe, and reassess.
When you stop comparing yourself to others, you give yourself the freedom to grow at your own pace. You give yourself the permission to let go of the expectations that others have placed on you, and start living according to your own values, your own needs, and your own desires.
How it ends
This isn’t a call to do nothing, but rather to do what truly matters. It’s about creating space for what brings you joy, for what nurtures your soul, and for what helps you reconnect with the deeper aspects of yourself. It’s about letting go of the noise and finding clarity in the stillness.
So, take a deep breath. Step back from the chaos. Reconnect with your inner self, and start living with intention. Your journey is yours alone, and it starts with the simple act of being.
