You can't Manifest a Mercedes

We must actively Manifest our energy to reach goals. Sitting on our asses just won't work.

When many of us think of manifesting we think of someone sitting in a room, surrounded by crystals, meditating their way into utter success. But, what if I told you that we manifest the good things into our lives by correcting the behaviors and the environment that exists right now? While there is something to be said for maintaining a positive position, making time for meditation, and creating focused goals. The idea that you can simply sit and wish for something, without changing your actions or the environment around you, is about as attainable as touching the Sun.

Now, before I get attacked by everyone from the Pagan or religious sect, this is not an attack on prayer, spell casting, or any other alternative means of collectively working for what we need or want. Rather, all of those things align with the idea that to ask for an ideal situation we first must actively partake in creating one. The very idea of manifesting would require that we reach deep into the energy of ourselves to create or obtain. So, let's use sobriety as an example. We simply cannot sit on the sofa with a glass of wine and meditate our way into sobriety. It just isn't going to work any more than performing the same action for a pot of gold will produce a leprechaun. Instead, if we draw our focus and energy to the strength we need to make it through the first day of sobriety, there would likely be a greater result for our efforts. You're still working with your energy to create the outcome you want. However, you're doing so in drive, as opposed to neutral.

We are all energy. Every single one of us is a ball of moving, flowing, and working energy. So, it would make perfect sense that sitting stationary and expecting changes isn't going to work. What will more likely give you the desired result would be to work with your energy, redirecting your focus on what you want. Another example would be attempting to manifest your way into financial success. You can direct the mind to essentially beg for riches. But, if your energy isn't working toward that goal, or being directed toward the means to that goal, you are just simply not going to have a bag of money fall into your lap.

I am a steadfast believer in the concept that we control our energy. And that our energy can affect the energies around us. Our output can positively, or negatively, penetrate the energy of our environment. This is why nervous people get bucked off of horses and stressed-out parents have reactive children. Everything around us feels our connection on that vibrational level. So, if you want that big promotion or that new partner, you're more likely to get it when you are directing your total energy toward that goal. Not when you're hyper-focused on the thought process, while otherwise sitting stagnant.

A final point. This method of actively working toward your dreams and aspirations is actually a lot easier to navigate than the practice of endless, seated, hours of visualization. Anyone who practices stationary prayer or meditation will tell you that it is a battle between you, and you. And your grocery list usually wins the battle before the good ideas start popping in to present themselves. It's extremely difficult to focus through and come out a winner on the other side. I've always believed this is because most of us aren't disciplined enough to harness all aspects of our energy and tie it to one place. So, an active approach seems to work for most people. This is also likely why the general public prefers the Asana/Moving aspect of Yoga practices while disregarding the other limbs. They find the feelings they want instantly. As opposed to working through the tree of Yogic practices.

Whether you pray to the heavens, quietly meditate in your corner, work with crystals, or cast spells. All of your efforts will be fruitless without wholeheartedly and actively sending your energy toward that which you so need or desire. Otherwise, you're just a sitting duck with good ideas.
