What makes up bored? Obviously not anything to do? Ruminating? Don’t have any friends? Do you have a man? Theses are simply a few reasons.

There are ways to overcome boredom which I have listed below.

You may think these are super easy tips. However, even the most intelligent person needs to be reminded.

Cook

Either cook your favorite comfort meal or get out some of your cookbooks to create something new. To save some stress, use your Crock-Pot or your air fryer! Have you ever prepared a meal in the microwave? I have a countertop burner that needs to be replaced as I have used the darn appliance over and over. This is better than heating up the kitchen.

*Clean

Whether you like it or not, your home needs to be cleaned. Make piles of save, donate or throw away. If you like, you can sell your gently used items on Poshmark.com. Woo Hoo! There is nothing wrong with that!

*Listen to music

There are so many ways of listening to music these days. For example, you can listen to pandora, i heart radio, etc. There are a zillion stations!

*Give yourcself a makeover

Bath, moisturize, get out that outfit that has been in the closet forever, apply dramatic make-up, do you hair and paint your nails! C’mon girl, pretend you're going out on a date. Heck, if you do not feel like cooking, treat yourself to a little restaurant.

*Exercise

Even if it's for 10 minutes, you can do it! After a while you are going to see the difference!

*Watch a DVD

So as not to get a bunch of DVDs that you are not going to watch more than once, borrow the DVDs from your local library.

*Do a craft

Color coloring books, create gift baskets, create scrap fabric wreaths, etc. There are hundreds of tutorials on YouTube.

*Clip coupons

Challenge yourself to save money! Ask friends who get coupons but throw the coupons away to give to you. Maybe ask your local library to have a coupon box for people to give and take.

*Go shopping at a thrift store

Again, do you need clothes, shoes, decoration for your house? Buy yourself these necessities! Different decorations are needed every so often to change and inspire your surroundings.

*Update your resume

Whether you are looking for a job or not, a polished resume does not hurt. As a tip, why not search for a work from home job?

*Read a book

I can get lost in good Joyce Meyer books! How about you?

*Learn something new

I want to learn aromatherapy and herbalism for free on coursesity.com. Such website has tons of courses to learn anything about!.

*Call or write a friend

With these days of social media, we forget the meaning of a good ol’ fashion phone call or letter.

*Take a siesta every day.

A siesta creates productivity. Get plenty of sleep period.

*A Local Tourist

Schedule a trip in your own town but act like a tourist! Don’t forget to take photos and eat plenty of food!

*Tutor

I found this website to explain a little:

*Cocktail or mocktail

Prepare yourself a drink! Whether alcoholic or non alcoholic, you deserve it!

There are so many people out there that cannot read or write. This would be a very rewarding position. What do you think?

I hope that this story has helped you in some way. Again, the tips may be simple, but even the intelligent need to be reminded!

Thank you so much for reading my story!
