When in Doubt, Write it Out
There are few things I can think of that have helped me over the years more than simply writing out whatever difficulty was going on for me at any given time. Whether by handwriting, typing, or talk-to-speech it can be so much easier to work through any issue by simply externalizing our thoughts and feelings for our own benefit.

Healing Out Loud
My scars are my beauty marks. My hate is what deserves the most care and love. Attention to your wounds seals your leaks. Sealing these leaks empowers your drive toward your supreme fate. Our fate lays in every individual. We are united. Its time we acknowledge our influence and power. Stop pretending to be weak and useless. You have a purpose Here and How – be the Hero of your dreams, challenge Death as you embrace your eternal Being.

Taking Care of Yourself and Others, Especially as an Empath
One of the most important things we need to do when we are on this Earth is care for ourselves. A lot of people feel as though caring for themselves makes them selfish. It is not selfish to care for yourself. Remember, you cannot pour from an empty cup. Meaning, you cannot help other people if you are not taking care of yourself. In a time when many of us are fighting for social justice in the world, I felt it was very important to ensure everyone is taking proper care of themselves.

A Recovering Caf-Fiend:
This may fall completely on deaf ears and blind eyes since coffee and caffeine consumption in general are as part of the wallpaper of many peoples' lives as going to work and watching TV. The only reason I bring it up is because I have found myself experiencing many negative effects from consuming caffeine, the most notable being my seeming inability to stop "cold turkey."

Mental Health Shouldn't be a Taboo Subject
I think it's mad that people are slated for talking about what is purely another health condition that you have no control over. Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it's not real. You don't tell a person with a broken leg to just get up and walk normally or that sitting in nature will fix the broken bone.

Why We Need To Change How We Look At The Face Of Addiction
Chances are you know or have interacted with someone who suffers from drug addiction. For me, I've seen it my whole life. I was introduced to this pervading illness and the effect it has on those around it when I was just a child.

Autism Isn't Abnormal
The definition of a disability is to be someone with certain characteristics that are different to most people. A neurotypical person on the other hand is defined to have characteristics that fit society’s general layout. Yet the word dis-ability suggests that neurotypicals are able and normal, whereas anyone else is considered of less worth to society.

Living with Depression and Anxiety
I suffer from several mental health conditions: depression, anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, disordered eating, and neurotic issues. Over the last several years, I fell into a black hole of depression that I thought I would never get out of and am only now clawing my way up the side of.
