A Non-Feminist in a Feminist World
Whilst doing my regular rounds on YouTube and looking at the arguments represented by both parties in the non-feminist and feminist community, I decided I wanted to write something that will explain what it's like for a woman to not be a feminist in the feminist world.
Life as a Composer
So, I am not that crazy haired man who sits at a piano all day watching the birds feed their chicks on a crusty winter's morning. I don't wear smart clothes all the time nor do I have the fascination with art. I don't speak proper, and my accent is more common than the number one top chart tune constantly played on the radio.
I hear people shouting for me from behind the blood red drawn curtain. They want me but can never have me. I slip on my masquerade and enter the room filled with screaming men. They all come to see me, I am the highest paid and most requested woman in this place. I walk over to the centre of the stage, swaying my hips to the delicate beat of the music. Sultry. Their eyes gawk at my curvaceous and toned body as the gentle material of my naughty outfit caresses me.
