Hope MartinPublished 5 months ago in LongevityThe Contradictions Of Christmas
Every year, for at least a month or more, the UK goes into a spin about celebrating Christmas. The traditional carols come out of mothballs for another year, the retailers gear up for another spending spree on gifts, and there is the usual anxiety about getting the right turkey, everything going well for the relatives on the big day, and everyone having a super time. Like Thanksgiving in America, the Christmas period is a chance to renew friendships, chill out with loved ones, and simply celebrate the year, though the copious amount of drink consumed, and its after-effects, have been an increasing cause for concern.

Ami was suddenly attacked by an unknown disease, she was suffering from severe pain day and night Things like witchcraft and amulets etc. are becoming a scourge in our society. People are ruining their lives by getting caught in the clutches of these evil practitioners. No one in our house has ever imagined amulets etc. Nor did we believe in such things. But the events that happened to our family and the way we saw our house turned from a model of heaven into a center of suffering, have made us think a lot. And it seems that the dark-hearted people of the black ops world are and are resorting to these dirty tactics to destroy homes. Mother loved her brother's daughters more than us daughters. Love gave more importance to them than their time. But these same brothers of Ami along with their daughters took Ami's life. The story is very long and sad but I will narrate it briefly so that with me Don't cry after reading this story of mine.

Today began as any other day waking up early, having a hearty meal, an hour of meditation and morning walk to the campus. Reaching the building I pushed opened the double glass door of the main building, the chilly morning swept in with a 'whoosh'. Reaching the stairs I quickly headed to the first floor, reaching the allotted room I slid open the door. The lecture hall was empty, looking at the time and the schedule I was pretty sure I was at the right place at the right time but the absence of the lingering students told me that something was amiss.

Amanda ChouPublished 5 months ago in LongevityFibromyalgia
Ok, so I've got it. Not that I wanted it. But it explains a lot. And once a medical doctor diagnosed me with it almost two years ago, I could relax a little. At least I knew I wasn't going crazy. And I could stop drinking those Jack Daniels & Coke just to make the pain lessen and to help me sleep. (Anyone who knows me, knows I'm not a big drinker and anything carbonated flares up the old interstitial cystitis that I'm also blessed to have...so I couldn't win.) Interstitial cystitis (IC) is a relatively uncommon and enigmatic disorder characterized by pain in the bladder and pelvic region, typically accompanied by urinary urgency and frequency. Fibromyalgia is a more common disorder, with the prominent symptoms being diffuse musculoskeletal pain and fatigue,... IC patients display diffusely increased peripheral nociception, as is seen in fibromyalgia. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/9201654/

Just relaxing amid the fluffy pillows with a book in hand, the cool, crisp air was flowing in through the open window, causing me to feel a chill. Putting the book down, I got up, padding on the marble floor with naked feet resulting in a chill travelling across my spine. Closing the windows, I pushed forward the curtains. Skipping back to the comfort of the pillows, I popped in and returned to my reading. Tossing and turning, I was able to complete my topic for study, which was definitely not pleasant anymore. I lost my comfortable position in the pillows when I got up to close the windows, and now no matter how much I turn and toss, I wasn't able to get it back, but thankfully I was done studying for today.

I'm a Dad, I'm 43 years old. I've been consuming 'Dad' media for almost 2 years on social media. I am so tired, so bored of reading the same messages over and over again.
