Reasons to Take Online Yoga Teacher Training

One of the most controversial questions about Online Yoga teacher training courses is not exactly the number of hours.

Although there are many criticisms of the concept of being a Yoga teacher in 200 hours, it is even more questionable to do these 200 hours in a period of only one month. Many Online Yoga classes offer classes extended over a period of 2 to 3 years. And there are a growing number of classes offering an intensive course over a 4-week period.

As an Online Yoga teacher training school that offers such intensive and multifaceted training, we are faced with a significant number of questions, either by email or via social media.

At the beginning of our Online Yoga Teacher Training faculty, we always ask our students if they really believe that they can be Yoga teachers within a month. Generally, the group is divided almost equally into those who believe that it is possible (many of them because they have attended classes with graduates of Arhanta) and those who are not very sure.

Obviously, we believe it is possible. Otherwise we would not offer online 200-hour yoga teacher training courses. And to go further, we also believe that the learning experience is accelerated by the intensity and multifaceted nature of the training. So we not only believe that it is possible, but we also believe that in many cases it is even better.

In an effort to accompany future Yoga teachers in the search for the yoga teachers they should choose, we have collected four common doubts about intensive Yoga teacher training courses. So, as a devil's advocate, let's talk about the most common reasons to take an online yoga teacher training:

Reasons to Take an Online Yoga Teacher Training

It’s Cheaper

Let’s face it: a month of yoga at a typical yoga studio can cost a lot of money, depending on where you live.

When you add up the costs of gas for driving to class, parking (or that parking ticket you got when you were too rushed to feed the meter!), your yoga class budget gets lower and lower. And the last thing you need is any more reasons to sign up for online yoga teacher training.

Less constraints, more yoga!

No schedule to respect, no course reservation to anticipate several days or weeks in advance, we practice wherever and whenever we want: at home, at the office, on travel, on business trips, in the garden, at the edge of the swimming pool

Choose your yoga session according to your needs or your mood of the day

Who has never wanted a personalized yoga class? To respond to this back pain or digestion concern of the day, or this overwhelming fatigue while you are enrolled in a dynamic Online yoga teacher training?

Have access to your yoga studio 24/7

It is a great luxury, indeed. Imagine being able to access the sessions of your favorite teacher at any time of the day or night. Perfect if you work shift schedules, if you like to practice early in the morning or late at night or if you do yoga to cure insomnia.

Practice at your own pace

In Online yoga teacher training, the main focus of our work is the quality of our presence in every moment of life. Far from any idea of performance, even advanced practice must ensure that we respect our own limits. This is often not the case when we practice in a group because we tend to compare ourselves to others and forget ourselves to stay in the ranks.

Group or online yoga? No need to choose!

Online yoga teacher training has often been criticized for depriving the student of the opportunity to evolve under the watchful eye of the teacher and to be corrected in real-time in his posture. Indeed, we are the first to encourage our beginners to go to class to acquire certain basics and avoid repeating mistakes at home.

Finally, get to practice regularly

Today, there is no longer any doubt about the benefits of online yoga teacher training. The real challenge is how to make room for it in our already busy lives?
