Sometimes men experience perineal pain, which feels like a localized contraction and spasm in the perineal area, accompanied by symptoms of pain that are difficult to tolerate.

Is perineal pain caused by seminal vesiculitis?

Certain male urological conditions can cause perineal pain, which includes not only sharp pain but also burning, throbbing, and cutting sensations. Since the perineal area in men primarily includes the external genital organs, perineal pain in men mainly involves pain in the scrotum, penis, and testicles.

Male genitourinary system disorders are the main causes of perineal pain, including:

1. Prostate disorders: prostatitis, prostate stones, prostate abscess, prostate cancer, etc.

2. Urinary tract stones: urethral stones, bladder stones, distal ureteral stones, etc.

3. Inflammatory conditions of the genitourinary tract: seminal vesiculitis, epididymitis, orchitis, urethritis, cystitis, etc.

4. Other conditions such as rectal cancer and perirectal abscess.

Therefore, perineal pain is possibly caused by seminal vesiculitis.

The seminal vesicles in men are located near the prostate, on the outer side of the vas deferens, between the base of the bladder and the rectum. Inflammation of the seminal vesicles can cause swelling and pain in the perineal area, intermittent spasms of pain, and when the pain is severe, it can radiate to the lower back, scrotum, penis, thighs, and other areas.

Additionally, patients with seminal vesiculitis may experience symptoms such as blood in semen, frequent urination, urgency, painful urination, urethral burning, terminal hematuria, and dribbling of urine. Some patients with acute seminal vesiculitis may experience chills, fever, and noticeable abdominal pain. Chronic seminal vesiculitis patients may also experience sexual dysfunction, such as decreased libido, premature ejaculation, spermatorrhea, painful ejaculation, and neurasthenia.

How is seminal vesiculitis and the associated perineal pain treated? While antibiotics can effectively kill bacteria and treat infections, they may not provide rapid relief from pain and discomfort. Pain relief medication needs to be combined. However, the more medications used, the greater the potential toxic side effects on the liver. In such cases, taking herbal medicine Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill can be helpful.

On one hand, these pills can eliminate pathogenic bacteria and alleviate seminal vesiculitis infection. On the other hand, they can relieve perineal pain quickly by promoting circulation and relieving pain. Moreover, they are safe without any toxic side effects and can especially prevent recurrence in cases of chronic seminal vesiculitis.

In addition, patients can take warm water sitz baths 1-2 times a day, lasting for half an hour each time, with the water temperature maintained at around 45 ℃. At the same time, they can gently massage the abdomen to help blood flow in the affected area.

Patients should avoid prolonged sitting, try not to sit for too long, and of course, do not stand for too long. If you are working, it is best to get up and exercise for 5-10 minutes within an hour. Avoid driving for too long, as prolonged sitting can really affect the blood flow in your private area.

Patients also need to avoid masturbation. If the patient has masturbation, please abstain from masturbation during the treatment period, and at the same time, vent reasonably on a daily basis and not indulge excessively. At the same time, maintain a light diet, quit smoking and alcohol, and avoid consuming spicy or stimulating foods.

In short, suffering from seminal vesiculitis can cause pain in the perineum, as well as infertility, hematuria, and hematospermia. So patients must pay attention to protective measures and actively receive treatment in their daily lives. But do not use medication without authorization, otherwise it is likely to cause more serious damage to the body due to improper treatment.
