My mother was a wise woman. Through her own experiences she taught me everything I know about life. She never thought she knew everything, but would raise me by teaching me what she knew about life. There were three of us living with her. I loved her. I may have hurt my mother at times, but I've always loved her. I'm only human. She brought me into this world gladly, and was a woman to be honored.

Even though she is still living I miss her. No mother is perfect and we all fight sometimes. But I know she loves me and always will. She taught me through her own experiences in the world about safety, security, acceptance, happiness, and love. She taught that I have every right to be safe and secure, I have to accept thing for how they are, Happiness is a choice, and to love myself and others around me.

My mother's expectations of me were very high. That's why I respected her so much. She knew I could do anything I set my mind to. My whole family was that way. My mother wanted me to soar sky high. She didn't want my expectations to be leveled low. She had very high expectations of me. So when she was disappointed in me about something, I knew it. But she always cheered me on when I did well. She loved me unconditionally. Even though she didn't know everything that went on in my life, and I didn't tell her, she still tried the best she could to protect me.

When I felt self-pity she would show me tough love. I had to suck up the tears and be tough. I had to stop showing self-pity and start doing things more for myself. She was a great women and a great mother. She is the main reason I have so much pride in myself. She told me I am a beautiful person and very intelligent.

When I had the worst people in my life she told me I deserved better. She would get upset when concerned about me. It would seem like she was mad but she was just worried about me. She had a love only so many children wish they had. She loved all of us.

With all the hurt and pain in our lives she helped through it all. She gave me encouragement and guidence. She is my world and always will be. She tried to raise me in the best possible way. And she succeeded. I learned a lot from her. I learned to love myself. I'm currently back in school. I can make friends a lot easier. I'm hoping to find a new loving romantic relationship through having self -love. I am able to be happy. I have learned to appreciate life a lot more.

Through life experiences we can teach our own children and be more like my mother. Not all things in life is red roses and blue Jays. but we can learn from our experiences and our mistakes and learn from the wisdom that comes from our parents. I learned a lot from my mother. I learned from both the parents who raised me. Both my mom and stepdad.

I look back on my mother and remember the good times we had together. We are a family and always will be. My family is full of wisdom, stregnth, and love. Even though things are difficult at times in life, I can look back on what I've been taught, especially by my mother. She is my world, my guide, my teacher.
