Prostatitis has many complex causes, and some of them are not clear, mainly including retrograde infection, mental factors, and some bad habits such as drinking for a long time, staying up late, and tired.

If there is acute prostatitis, anti-inflammatory treatment is needed, and antibiotics are used to control inflammation and improve symptoms. If it is chronic prostatitis, especially nonbacterial prostatitis, Chinese medicine is a good choice, such as Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill.

For benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostate cancer, anti-inflammatory treatment is not the primary treatment. The two diseases usually occur in the elderly, and their treatment is different from prostatitis.

Prostatitis and other diseases have plagued more and more young men, and there are many reasons for prostate disease. Prevention is far more important than treatment. Many men do not know that men can keep away from prostate disease by paying attention to these points when they urinate.

1. Squeeze perineum after urination.

Men's urethra is longer, so it is easy to cause endless urination, resulting in urinary tract infections. So, how to get rid of the residual urine? Some experts introduced two methods:

a. After micturition, men can squeeze the perineal part between the scrotum and anus with their fingers. It can make the residual urine in the bladder discharged and has specific benefits for treating chronic prostatitis.

b. Usually do more anal exercise to enhance the perineal muscle and urethral muscle contraction and reduce the residual urine in the bladder.

2. Don't sit down immediately after urination.

Men have an exceptional physiological characteristic, that is, after urination, the internal and external sphincter of the urethra will contract and close, making the urethra of the prostate form a closed cavity. Sitting down immediately after urination will increase the pressure in the sealed cavity, resulting in residual urine reflux and prostatitis. Therefore, men should stand for 3-5 minutes after urinating and then sit down.

3. Don't rush to urinate after sex.

For women, timely urination after sex is conducive to flushing the urethra and avoiding urinary tract infections. Because the female urethra is short and straight, the bacteria of the vulva may retrograde into the urethra during sexual life, causing urethritis, cystitis, etc.

However, men should not rush to urinate after sex. Otherwise, it will cause damage to the prostate. Because the male urethra is long and curved, the resistance of urine passage is large and long. Sexual life has just ended, the penile cavernous body congestion has not been subsided, and the contraction of the sphincter and detrusor has not been eliminated, which causes high urinary resistance, causing difficulty in urination even the inability to pee out.

At this time, if you are eager to urinate, it will increase the pressure in the urethra, and the reverse flow of urine with bacteria and metabolic waste will enter the prostate, which will lead to prostatitis for a long time.

4. Increase urination times.

The incidence rate of bladder cancer is directly proportional to the time of urine retention in the bladder. There is a carcinogenic chemical in the urine, which destroys the muscle fibers of the bladder and causes it to become cancerous.

Experts suggest that people should increase urination whether they intend to urinate or not. And the most scientific method is to do it once an hour.

5. The older adult can squat down.

Data showed that regularly squatted urination men had a lower risk of rectal cancer, bladder cancer, and prostate cancer than those standing men. Squatting urination can make the human body appear a series of muscle movements and related reflexes. It can accelerate the excretion of intestinal waste, shorten the retention time of feces in the intestine, and reduce the absorption of carcinogens in the intestine. In addition, older adults should squat to urinate to avoid urination syncope at night.
