The high vibration diet does not spare the flavors!

We have come to a time when Americans have become more interested in being at an optimum level of physical and spiritual health. There is a multitude of diets that claim to enhance your metabolism, activate your body's fat burning potential and unlock insulin from your liver. Companies make millions every year by promising: "eat our food and you will lose weight!" What happens is this—nutrition companies market to a specific audience through target advertising and you pay them your money, eat their food, and you may lose weight. What about your spiritual wellness? Spiritual wellness is key to a happy and successful life. Without spiritual wellness, we are blocked, hungry, and still feeling horrible. What if you could easily make long-term changes to your eating habits and the way you look at food? What if you could eat food and grow spiritually? It is possible!

You are what you eat...

Looks good right? But how do you feel?

Most Americans will agree, we love our big fat burgers and greasy, salty fries with an icy, bubbly soda. But how do you feel after eating this? I fasted from fast food for over a month and this is what I learned when I ate my go to meal of a quarter pounder and fries: I felt horrible. After a month of eating whole foods, salads, stir fries, and steamers, I developed a taste for the lighter meats and fresh vegetables, organic when available. Then another couple of weeks back on my "green food" and I began eating traditional southern cooking. I had grown up on this food—meats battered and pan fried, vegetables with bacon grease cooked in, and boxed dinner with noodles and lists of ingredients I can't pronounce. After the first week, I noticed a slight drop in mental and "psychic" energy; physical energy was waning, I was feeling fatigued mid-day. I wasn't sleeping so well, and physically felt awful. Depression began setting in during the second week and eventually, more physical pain was noted. I asked myself, what is this? Why do I feel this way? I felt fine a few weeks ago and now I feel like a dirty towel. The food I was putting into my body was not fuel for my soul. Heavy meats, processed food full of chemicals, and even our canned foods are all lower vibrational foods. The more a food product is removed from its natural state, the lower the vibration of that substance. Ingestion of low vibrational foods lowers our personal vibration. Our soul starts to feel weak, we may become depressed and fatigued. These are signs of a lower vibration, and it all comes back to our soul not being properly fed. When you eat heavy, greasy, processed foods, then you feel heavy, greasy, and processed.

Real Soul Food

Whole grains, lean meats, fresh fruits and vegetables are vital for our mind, body and soul.

When your body does not have to work hard to process and digest your food, it runs more efficiently. After all, you put a certain oil and gas in your car so that it runs good right? No knocks, pings or dings when you use the right oil and fuel. The same concept applies to your physical body. By changing the way you identify with food, seeing food as fuel, you begin to understand how your dietary choices effect your own performance. By ingesting whole, nutrient-rich foods you are giving your physical body the fuel it needs, in an easy to process package, to perform at its optimum level. When you eat foods rich in fats or carbohydrates, these are energy sources that, when not promptly used, will be stored as fat for later use. In time, this becomes excess weight, which leads to musculoskeletal injuries and metabolic issues. The same applies to your spiritual body. By ingesting nutrient-rich whole foods that retain much of their vibrational energy and that is used by your spiritual body as vibrational energy. High vibration is the key to spiritual wellness. Low vibrational foods bring us down. We may feel depressed or experience blockages in our goals.

Meat is not the enemy.

Grass fed, natural and chemical free animals make chemical free meats.

It is not necessary to go all out vegan or vegetarian. Many of us have a natural need for protein and iron rich foods in which meat may be a requirement. It is how the animal is fed and cared for, how its meat is harvested, processed and prepared that matters. Animals that are penned, fed through tubes or machines, and given a multitude of chemicals are not happy animals and will have a low vibration. Therefore, the meat that is harvested from these animals will have a low vibration, especially after it is treated with chemicals to prolong shelf life, enhance color and yield more flavor as many meats in slaughterhouses today are treated and processed. Animals that are free range, fed their natural diet, and only washed with water during harvesting and processing, retain more vibrational energy than there penned up counterparts. Wild caught seafood and wild game may retain the highest vibration, as they are always in their natural habitat, eating their natural foods, and allowed to roam freely without cages of any sort. Intake of these meats will naturally raise your vibration.

Raise Your Vibration for Success

Every being and every thing has a vibration

Every living thing has a vibrational frequency. This is the energy that is naturally present at any given time, in any given state. The higher the vibration, the more likely one will have at achieving goals, realizing personal success, spiritual, and physical wellness. In order to achieve your goals and just feel good, it is beneficial to raise your vibration. The intake of whole foods with little or no processing is vital in this endeavor. When we ingest foods that are far removed from their natural state, it lowers the vibration of that food, thus lowering our vibration. But by viewing food as fuel for our bodies and souls, we may actively participate in our own well being. Give it a try, go organic for a month. Note any physical or mood-related changes. Then, return to your old eating habits and see if there is a difference. How is your mental state? Is your physical energy higher or lower? The cost of the high vibrational diet is minimal in comparison to the standard American diet of processed, fatty, and chemically enhanced foods. Many grocery stores are lowering prices on organic products. Even if organic isn't readily available, you can still achieve a higher vibrational diet by shopping more from the fresh produce department and fresh meats. You may want to plant a garden or take up hunting for game as wild game retains a higher vibration than domesticated or penned animals. Make the change today and raise your vibration to meet the needs of your body, mind, and soul, and achieve true wellness.
