"Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained"

That saying is an Aries in a nutshell. No matter what the situation or challenge is, good or bad, positive or negative, the Hold-My-Beer Attitude of an Aries is Unparalleled. Although strongest when focused, and intelligently tempering their action, an Aries tends to find it easier to express themselves in a more immature and reckless way, leaving a tornado trail of faded enthusiasm behind them.

Today, we're discussing Aries, their driving cardinal fire energy and how they brighten up a room... like a brush fire.

Polarity : Positive Quality : Cardinal Element : Fire Ruler : Mars Beneficial : Confidence, Courage, Pioneer Spirit Unbeneficial : Impulsiveness, Impatience, Unreliability

What'd You Say!? Hold My Beer...

An Aries can typically be uncomfortable with making considered emotional judgement calls, and be ready to scrap over the slightest push or provocation. (For real, I've seen someone catch hands over a bag of chips.) And they're justifying excuse? Standing on the grounds that, "There's no time to ask questions".

But of course, Aries isn't all bad. In fact, they're not bad at all. An aries is heroic. Their "take action first and think about danger tomorrow" aspect on life makes them incredible soldiers or even just people who would step in and get a ball rolling if no one else is able to. They also make amazing business people, as their cardinal Arian confidence has the ability to empower anyone who comes in contact with them.

Following an Aries around is not for the faint of heart. Unlike with a Scorpio, a fixed water sign that is also ruled by Mars, Aries works in initiating bursts of starter energy, but a lot of times won't finish what they've started leaving a mess of unfinished projects and unsatisfied people behind them.

An Aries may even push people to do things that may not be best for them (because of an Arian need to just push forward, experience and hope for the best, feels normal for them, "so why not for you?") Their pioneering efforts need to be followed through in order to be sustainable, which is perfectly possible with the right push, like with a Taurus.

If there's one thing I can say, it's that with an Aries, life is never dull.

They're assertive, independent, courageous, adventurous and freedom-loving. They're natural-born leaders because they love for rising to new challenges and are always the initiator, facing obstacles head-on.

Although this can be a little bit of a fault in them; Arians sometimes assume the right to move ahead or even take the lead, and as I've mentioned, they don't always follow through with what they started, or it may take them a long time because they keep stopping to start something else, so a lot of the time, you may not set a preferred or expected outcome from them immediately. Finishing what they've started on time with the outcome expected requires WAY more effort than they're usually willing to give, but it's not impossible.

To add to things, an Arians tend to not consult others before doing something because Venus, the planet that rules the heart, is in detriment to Aries, making it weak and ignorable. This means that the little voice that usually says,"what about others" is stomped into the ground before it even reaches and Arian's ears, so that needs a recap:

The consideration gene that is necessary to properly finish a team project, and ultimately is in all humans, is naturally starving to death in an Aries.

On the plus side, when things do go wrong, an Aries has the-- in my opinion-- awesome ability to turn any situation into a positive one, so there's that.

An Arian's courage, raw energy, natural confidence and Give-It-A-Go attitude, responding readily to any challenge should never be overlooked, just balanced with someone to ground them.

How to Handle an Aries

(This applies to all signs : Aries Sun, Aries Moon, Aries Venus, Aries Rising, etc.)

They love their freedom but it's never quite enough, because they're always looking to that spark of excitement to them going again. Also, it's necessary -- even crucial -- for them to plan the next step before the moment when their enthusiasm wanes, but on their own.

You may mean well when you try to give encouragement/advice, but it will fall on deaf ears. You might be able to get them to grudgingly give you a moment of their time to this, but I promise you, it's gonna lead to you both walking away from an argument. More likely.

Two ways to prevent this : One is taking up projects that constantly bring on a new challenge like sports or sales.

Two - and this is more for the Aries person - is to try and let that need for change and excitement be the mission. Like for example, if this Aries could accept this part of them needs to switch off when they're bored, then they'll start to look for things in their life that'll accommodate this part of them. Doing this will bring out the best potential in an Aries. An Aries operating at this level has the power to accomplish almost anything.
