Do you want to lose weight fast and be healthy at the same time?

There are drinks that can benefit us when we want to lose weight but also to be healthy and fit, especially in light of the current health scare; the coronavirus.

When we want to lose weight fast we automatically believe that our eating has to change but what if we change our drinking habits too? We can make things better for ourselves if we start to choose better drinks in our daily lifestyles.

Here are five drinks that will work.

1. Water

This is definitely a great drink for weight loss and calorie-free. There have been studies to show that drinking water before eating causes people to eat less during meal times. Iced water stimulates metabolism which then increases the number of calories you burn. Try and increase your water intake by two glasses a day.

2. Green tea

Green tea is calorie-free and suitable for weight loss and it's considered to be a healthy hot drink. Green tea contains polyphenols and caffeine which has been found to cause thermogenesis and increase fat oxidation which will also increase metabolic rate. I find that green tea helps me with other health problems too. Find out more by reading how it helps me in this article.

3. Vegetable smoothie

A cup of natural vegetables juiced as a smoothie is an ideal low-calorie drink. Make your own smoothie with a blender using carrots, cucumber, celery, parsley, broccoli, and tomatoes or make one of your own using other vegetables. Invest in a really good juicer.

4. Black coffee

Have black coffee in moderation (3 to 4 cups per day). Black coffee contains antioxidants that may help fight some forms of cancer. Keeping it black makes the coffee calorie-free making it a desirable drink for those who are trying to lose weight.

5. Oolong tea

Oolong tea possesses properties that can fight obesity. I like to drink this tea often. It's a different taste to green tea. Studies show that this tea dials down hunger by 36% for up to 24 hours, plus lowers LDL "bad" cholesterol by 29% according to Dr. S. Moalem, Geneticist, Ph.D.

Dr. Moalem says:

"Once you start drinking oolong, you'll feel the difference instantly," promises Moalem. Studies show that oolong dials down hunger by 36 percent for up to 24 hours, plus lowers LDL "bad" cholesterol by 29 percent. Catechins unique to oolong have also been shown to feed beneficial gut bugs, improving digestion and curbing blue moods by 20 percent. Indeed, the women that FIRST spoke to report that sipping oolong increased their energy, eased aches, and curbed belly bloat."

Firstwomen.com says:

"Oolong tea's unique blend of polyphenols prods cells to burn calories more efficiently, asserts Dr Moalem. In fact, Japanese researchers found that just one cup of oolong boosts metabolism by 20 percent for two hours - nearly twice as much as three strong cups of green tea. Even better: Oolong promotes the burning of belly fat. In one study, oolong sippers lost two times more midsection fat than those who skipped the brew."

There are a lot of benefits to Oolong tea if you want to lose weight. It can also improve digestion and curb moodiness by 20%.

You can buy this tea online or in health shops around the world.
