In order to eat whole foods that are low in sugar and fat, we need to find out what they are. Whole foods are anything that is not processed or refined. This includes fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes (beans), nuts, seeds (sunflower), eggs (chicken), meat (beef), and seafood (salmon).
There are many ways to eat whole foods that are low in sugar and fat:
-Eat a balanced diet of whole foods with a variety of colors every day. This will ensure you get the right balance of vitamins from the different food groups;
-Choose lean protein sources like chicken or fish, or plant-based sources like beans and lentils for a healthy protein
-Consume vegetables and fruits in different colors every day; eat dark green, red, yellow, orange, and purple vegetables.
