Belly fat problems:

If you have noticed some excess weight around your mid section and find it hard to shift, perhaps you need to look into the following reasons and possible remedies.

1) Insulin resistance. This is too high blood sugar and can be caused by dietary factors, such as eating too much sugar and refined foods or there can be environmental factors causing the problem. Stress is a particular reason to cause insulin resistance. Another problem is lack of sleep as well as a lack of exercise. Therefore, improving diet, as well as sleep and adding exercise to your daily routine may help you to loose your belly fat. There are some particular ways to deal with insulin related belly fat and that is intermittent fasting a long with a keto diet. Intermittent fasting means to go for a long time without eating, such as 16 hours. Some people just eat once a day during this type of fast. It lowers blood sugar because the body uses up its own fuel. Too much eating and regular snacking causes spikes in insulin. Of course, this type of fasting will not be much use if you break fast on foods that encourage insulin and then belly fat. For this reason people often follow the keto diet along with fasting. On this diet, carbohydrates are restricted, which include most fruits and sweet things. Protein but more particularly, fat is increased as it leads to better satiety and helps to balance blood sugar.

2) Heart problems and too many trans fats in the dirt. Too many trans fats and heart problems can arise appear in the form of excess belly fat. Belly fat in general can put a strain on the heart and it also is a sign of impending heart disease, especially when accompanied by breathlessness. Therefore, a healthy diet that encourages heart health along with enough exercise and reducing stress may help to get rid of this type of belly fat. In particular the dash diet is recommended to reduce weight and lower blood pressure as well as looking after the heart. The dash diet restricts a lot of fats and increases fruits and vegetables with lean meats. It is similar to the Mediterranean diet. The dash diet has found to effective in weight loss and in reducing high blood pressure and similar issues.

3) Sibo: this is a term used to describe the presence of parasite or microbes in the gut. These can be caught through food, if we did not wash it thoroughly enough as well as from surfaces, clothes and so forth. For this reason the best preventative is to try and keep hygienic as much as possible. This includes washing foods thoroughly and soaking what is possible in white vinegar before using. It is still possible to catch things through the air however, for this. For this reason the use of certain foods and herbs can help to get rid of bacteria and parasites in the gut. Traditional foods for this purpose include pomegranate, apple, yogurt, garlic, ginger cinnamon, turmeric, pumpkin seeds and flaxseeds.

4) Constipation. If food is going in and nothing is coming out things will be uncomfortable and ones stomach will be bloated and larger than normal. For this problem, adding fibre rich foods should help, such as plenty of salads and potatoes with their skins. Drinking water a lot is necessary and green tea or mint tea can help increase digestion and assist in this situation.

5) General obesity. If a person has a large amount of belly fat it could simply be that they are eating too much and the excess is being accumulated in the abdomen. This is more likely to happen to people who are inactive as well. Therefore, the best way to deal with obesity is to increase exercise and healthy eating. Increases in fibre and reducing stress can work very well

Therefore, belly fat might have a variety of causes and can even point towards a vitamin deficiency particular in calcium or vitamin D. Finding out the cause of belly fat might be the first step towards getting rid of it and improving health and well being at the same time.
