I don’t know about you, the person who has found themselves reading this, but for me, we are living in very scary times. Times when it’s better to be safe rather than to be sorry. Times when we need to pay close attention to what’s happening and be as prepared as we can be for whatever is to come.

Things You Should Have In Your Stockpile in 2023

1. Toilet Paper

I think this one goes without saying. I mean, we all remember what happened last time when the stores were completely out of toilet paper. You don’t want that to happen again, so it’s best to stock up on it now so that you don’t have to worry about it later.

2. Paper Towel/Tissue Paper

This goes hand in hand with toilet paper. It’s just one of the household staples that’s good to have on hand in case of an emergency. Just add an extra one to the list each time you go to the store and throw it in your stockpile, so you’ll have it when and if you need it.

3. Trash Bags

I’m sure we can live without trash bags, if we really need to, but if you can stock up on them, it’s just one less thing you have to worry about if you were to get locked inside your house again.

Where to buy: Amazon (1,000 Count Wholesale Bags)

4. Vinegar

Skip all of the expensive cleaning products. The only thing you really need to clean with is white vinegar. You don’t need a bunch of toxic Clorox wipes (which have an expiration date, by the way) or all the pink cleaner in the world. You just need one or two spray bottles with equal parts vinegar and water, and some essential oils if you wish. Remember, stockpiling is about survival, not having the best of the best. It’s about what you need to survive.

Where to buy: Amazon (2 Pack Distilled White Vinegar)

5. Bottle/Jugged Water

Of course, another essential for surviving is water. Specially bottled water or jugs of water if you prefer. Whatever you prefer, just make sure you want some clean water on hand for the next lockdown. The last thing you want to do is be stuck inside your house without power or water.

Where to buy: Amazon (Drinking Water)

6. Solar Charging Power Bank

Speaking of power, I think everyone needs at least one of these in their house. What would you do if your power went out? What if it went out for months, and you didn’t have a way to charge your devices? Well, then you’re probably in deep trouble.

7. Seeds

If you don’t already grow your own food or know how to, it’s time to learn. And to stock up on your favorite plant seeds so that if you need to grow your own food in order to eat without relying on stores to have the food in stock.

Where to buy: Amazon (Heirloom Seeds)

8. Meat (If You Eat It)

If you eat meat, and you can afford to buy in bulk, you should do that now so that you have some stored away for later. I recommend finding a good local farm or butcher to purchase from and then dividing it all up in portions to freeze for a later date.

Where to buy: Your local Butcher
