It happens to some of our favorite bands; they call it quits or members leave. Sometimes they’re fired, and sometimes they have truly righteous reasons to depart from their band. Either way, whatever the case, with social media being so readily accessible, we’ve all seen bands and companies’ interpersonal relationships being handled on social media at times. So how do we respond? What is acceptable and what is not for them to post online? WHAT ARE THEY EVEN THINKING?!

What makes me an expert in social media promotions? Well, I’m not an expert. I’m just a creative person that wants to make some money from their craft and the only way to do that is to let people know what that craft is. Without a social media presence for my books and my art, I would never sell anything. Without a social media presence for my writing, in general, no one would know when I have a new article online.

I'm an aspiring model, and the most common thing I get asked is how I got into it. Now, I'm not yet what I'd call successful, so take everything with a pinch of salt, but I think a lot of people would agree with the things I have to say about the power social media can have on success. Though I haven't reached my peak yet; I'm not Insta Famous and I don't have tons of contracts with big brands. I've had a few big successes in my eyes, and I owe a lot of it to the way I've learnt to manage my social profile.
Facebook can be your best friend or your worst enemy. It all depends on how you approach it.
We all have crazy, busy lives and social media can be the biggest time sucker of them all. I know there have been times when I’ve sat down to check out a recipe or a friend’s contact information, looked up at the clock and realized that 2 hours had passed... and I can’t remember why I was even on my tablet or phone. Writing is something that many of us love to do, but your voice can be heard through podcasting. When you write an article, you can also share it with a podcast. Hearing yourself, you might not like the way you sound, but that does not mean that listeners won't like you. All you need to do is make your podcast interesting and keep your listeners listening. As a podcaster, I'm not perfect. I make mistakes. Sometimes you might hear a little pop or click through the microphone, but for the most part, the sound of the podcast is load and clear. All you will need is a good microphone and software like Garage Band that will allow you to podcast and create music.
I literally get asked this question every single day. I have been blogging since I was seventeen and in high school, a lot of my mates had no idea what it was that I was doing, I have been explaining what it is that I do for a long time, and people seem to still not understand the term ‘blogger.’ Being a student who is studying fashion journalism, it has actually become much easier to explain what it is that a blogger really is.
