The Supervisor's Weakness is PSYCHIC Types.
In a recent post, I did a bit of trolling and rolling to highlight some of the gems I've discovered about colleagues and their covert plots. Make no mistake, it's mostly thought-provoking knowledge, but I just had to throw in a little salt for everyone who makes it their business to leave us star players out of the conversation.

Costuming Bodies Should Not Be This Harmful
There are few places in theater where carelessnes becomes intimate faster than the costume fitting. A person steps into a room already vulnerable. Already visible. Already being asked, in one way or another, to let their body be handled, assessed, discussed, measured, shaped, fastened, altered, and made useful to a production. That process can be collaborative. It can be affirming. It can be deeply respectful. Done well, costuming can help an actor feel seen, held, and supported in the world of the show.
