Today is Easter, and in the world of Christianity, we often hear something like this.

"He is Risen. Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia"

Now, I'm not here to preach to you about Christianity, I don't believe pushing Beliefs on others has ever worked.

However, I do think that there are Lessons we can always learn from all different Beliefs, whether or not they belong to the Traditions we follow.

There is something from the Story of Jesus that most people "Know", but don't really "Appreciate" that I am going to speak about today.

Easter is primarily Focused on the "Rising" of Jesus.

What I don't think we often Appreciate is that Jesus first Died.

In every aspect of our Lives, there is a Process we must go through.

Life and Death.

Easter is of course Focused on Spiritual Life and Death, but the cycle exists in every aspect of Life.

Many people are Focused on some version of "Life" that they want.

It of course goes by many different names.

Life in the form of Business Success.

Life in the form of Romantic Love.

Life in the form of Physical Fitness.

Life in the form of Bodily Health.

That is of course a short list, but I think that You get the point.

So often we "want" that form of "Life".

We crave it, desperately.

Yet, we forget that it is a Process.

You don't get to the Life without the Death.

It is an Essential piece to the puzzle that I think we either Forget or simply try to Ignore.

But if you Ignore it, you'll never Achieve that Life you crave.

If you want the "Life", you have to first ask what needs to "Die".

If you want Business Success, certain things must first Die so that your Business can have Life.

What must Die first?

If you want Romantic Love, certain things must first Die so that your Relationship can stand the Tests of Time.

What must Die first?

If you want to be Physically Fit, certain things must first Die that you can Build the Body that you want.

What must Die first?

If you want to have Bodily Health, certain things must first Die so that your Body can Heal itself.

What must Die first?

There may be more than one thing that must Die for you to have the Life that you Desire.

It could be a long list of things.

In your Business, you may have your Marketing spread too thin for any channel to have Success.

In your Business, your Team may be too Burnt Out to get Results for Success.

In your Romantic Relationships, you may be too Strong-Willed on things that don't matter at the end of the day, and your Pride may be damaging the Relationship.

In your Romantic Relationships, you may ask the question, "What if?" too often, when you should be Focused on What Is.

In your Physical Fitness, you may have too much Comfort in your Life which makes it difficult for you to do what is necessary to be Fit.

In your Physical Fitness, you may not have the Knowledge to get to the Goals you want to be at.

In your Bodily Health, you may not be paying attention to the types of Food that you are consuming.

In your Bodily Health, you may be getting too many opposing viewpoints without putting any of them to the test.

Another aspect that we must also Realize is that this is a Cycle, over time there will be different things that must Die for you to gain New Life.

What in your Life must Die for you to have the Life you want?

If you want an omlette... right?

  • Totally agree! Like if we want something, we must be ready to change our habits to attain it. Like we cannot lead a sedentary life and expect to get physically fit. Lol
