The Impractical Jokers otherwise known as the Tenderloins is a damn hilarious comedy trio who have a successful prank comedy show on Tru tv, sometimes I leave the television on Impractical Jokers all day. The Impractical Jokers are Q, Sal, and Murr. There used to be a fourth Joe but he left the show for personal reasons however Joe and the rest of the boys are still friends and although Joe is not on screen he is still involved with the show. At the start of each show there is always a warning or a disclaimer that the impractical jokers are four lifelong friends who compete to embarrass eachother and actually they have been and remain real life long friends who like the disclaimer says that the impractical jokers are just that and the show is chock full of graphic stupidity and hilarious comedy gold.
The guys are a team and a talented one at that but when Joe was there he had always stuck out just a little bit more. Due to the fact that I live in New York state myself I love the fact the show takes place primarily around New York City. One of Joe’s known bits was yelling for some guy named “Larry!” that was his shtick.
On the show they do really funny stuff for example it’s a lot of office humour for examples they fake focus groups and they hang out a lot in Central park. The boys also pretend to be people who present new products and they even invade the restaurant and deli worlds. Even supermarkets are not off limits the shoppers are not off limits however from time to time they do get recognized and they sign autographs and things like that. The Impractical Jokers have a lot of celebrity friends who also participate in their comedic shenanigans including Bret Michaels from the famed Hair Metal band Poison and Kim Fields who was Tootie on the Facts of Life among others.
The stuff that the guys do to one another on the show is just funny including their punishments to each other when one of them doesn’t win the challenge. The Jokers have popularity across the ocean in England and they did go their and film as well. There is even a movie that they had done some time ago. Also they went to Miami and filmed there too. There is also a prank that they do at the mall which is a staple on the show where they fish from another floor of a mall and actually try to hook the person’s merchandise all the while one of the other guys have to distract the shopper while this prank is going on sometimes it works but other times it doesn’t but still funny all along. Sal, Q, and Murr think of some of the best and funniest pranks and things like that I have ever seen. Sometimes the random people that they get don’t go along with it but the others are good sports.
This show is great whenever you want a laugh and just sit back and relax and watch because that’s what it’s all about. Another thing I like is since they film around New York City it’s great to see the city. Nothing is off limits and that is the key or at least one of them is the key to good comedic gold. The show started on Tru Tv and is now aired on another network I think TBS or PBS. I love this show and that’s why I have done this review you’ve read.
