All ladies should have a girls night out every once in a while. It's a great stress reliever to get together with your best friends and have fun doing something you wouldn't normally do by yourself or with your kids. But if you go out with your friends with any regularity, you know that, after a while, the same old activities can become stale. You need to change things up every once in a while so that you continue to look forward to the time that you have with the girls away from spouses, boyfriends, and children. If you're looking for some great ideas to break up the same old routine, keep reading. We have a list that is sure to make your next night out with the ladies more fun than you've had in months.

Try a Different Bar

Yes, it sounds oh so creative, but seriously, changing up the type of bar that you go to can put a positive spin on your girls night out. If you've ever caught yourself thinking, "What bars open near me serve something other than beer and popcorn?" then why not try something like a cocktail lounge or a speakeasy? If you constantly go to martini bars, try one that will have karaoke. How about bar volleyball? The point is, you can still do something that is very similar to your routine and still have a vastly different experience. Just check out the options in your city.

Find Your Inner Picasso

What's more fun than drinking a couple of glasses of wine with friends? Bringing home an original work of art that you made after the night is over. Paint and drink places are all over cities both large and small, so there's no reason that you can't pull out your beret and paint pallet for a fun night out with the girls.

Have a Girls Night In

Flip the script, and have a girls night IN. When you get the guys out of the house, there's actually a whole lot of fun that you can have just while staying in your own home. Why not have a board game night? You can include all of your favorite games from your childhood. Anyone up for a game of Clue? While you're at it, bake some delicious baked goods that you usually try to avoid. After all, the calories don't count as long as you're with your friends who will tell you how gorgeous you are, right?

Have a Pool Party

If you are struggling to come up with fun ideas to do with the girls, consider having a pool party! Whether that’s at a community pool, or in your own backyard! If you are thinking about installing a pool, look into swimming pool contractors Santa Rosa Beach to make all your girls night out dreams come true. There’s really nothing better than cooling down in a swimming pool with a drink while chatting with the girls.

Have an Exercise Party

After you all come to the sad realization that, yes, the calories from those double-fudge brownies with ice cream do still count, the next girls night out you can make up for it by going to an exercise class. Find your ch'i with some yoga or go to a hip-hop class. The choice is yours, just get moving with your girls.

Don't Pick Just One Place

If you've heard of progressive dinners, you know that it allows you to pick the best of every restaurant, and you don't have to fight with your gal pals about where you should go. If you're in the mood for Mexican, but one friend wants all-American food, and your third friend wants to enjoy some great drinks, go to the Mexican restaurant, get some sundaes at the burger joint, and then head out to the martini bar for some high-class drinks. Everyone's happy, and you've made dinner into an event.

Escape a Room

Yes, in some ways, that's exactly what you're doing when you have a girls night out; you're escaping the house. But you can also go to one of the many Escape Rooms that are becoming popular across the world.

There are countless ways that you can escape the rut of doing the same things with your friends. Look around for more great ideas, and then let loose with your best gal pals doing things that are as fun and unique as you.
