What can cause an increase in collagen production?

Here are some pointers to help you produce more collagen. They are mostly just good habits that many people who care about their health already follow; nothing unusual.

1. Eliminate processed foods and added sugar. Consuming processed foods causes glycation, which hardens the collagen in your skin. I understand that buying manufactured meals saves time, but if that's the reason you do it, consider learning to make a few simple dishes with fresh ingredients so you can eat properly without spending too much time in the kitchen.

3. EAT FOOD HIGH IN COLLAGEN Instead of decreasing your collagen production, collagen-rich foods help you produce more of it. You might think about including bone broth (grass-fed), berries, fish, and garlic into your diet..

Berries are excellent for collagen for two reasons: they contain vitamin C, which has been found to stop collagen degradation, and ellagic acid.
