As she looked into his blue eyes, all she felt was peace, stability and security. Her heart filled with joy as she looked at his face, the man she had spent her whole life searching for.

She knew from the moment they first saw each other that he was someone special to her, and nothing would be able to tear them apart. She believed in him, no matter what anyone else may have said.

He took her hand, pulling her closer to him as if trying to pull the world away and keep it just the two of them. They stood there staring at each other until their lips met.

“My, my… I didn't know you had such a beautiful smile.” He spoke softly while stroking her face. He leaned forward again, but this time, instead of pressing their lips together, he kissed her softly on her forehead, leaving her with an even more loving expression on her face than before.

When he finally left her arms, he smiled sweetly at her and then whispered something she couldn't quite hear. As his lips were about to reach hers, she stopped him, placing one of her fingers against his lips. She giggled quietly at what he had almost said.

His eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly as his lips formed a small pout. He looked up at her confused, trying to figure out what she was talking about. It seemed as though he never realized his mistake as her laughter only grew louder as she continued to giggle.

“You really need to work on your lip-reading skills…” He mumbled, not taking his gaze off her. His cheeks turned bright red as he realized what he had nearly said and what he might have done. He looked at her expectantly for answers.

“What was that, babe?” She asked, still laughing lightly. She could feel herself blushing. She was sure he was going to say something embarrassing or make a fool of himself. But, she wasn't complaining one bit. The look on his face was priceless! She just wished she could capture the image forever.

“I said… ‘I like you too’.” He stated, looking down. He started picking at the sleeves of his sweater nervously. He couldn't believe how stupid he was right now! What if she thought he was making fun of her? He glanced over and saw she was still smiling. She gently grabbed his hands and brought them to her face, giving his knuckles a soft kiss.

“I like you too.” She replied, giving him another smile. She leaned forward and pressed her lips to his, letting her emotions get the best of her once again. When they finally separated and looked into each other's eyes again, they both began to laugh again.

"We should tell our friends." She said between her chuckles.

"That would be nice…" He agreed, still laughing uncontrollably. He leaned forward and gave her a quick peck on her lips before getting up. He stretched, yawning loudly before walking over to his friend's house.

She watched as he walked inside, waiting until he disappeared before sitting back down on the swing. She rested her head against the chain of the seat and closed her eyes. She loved spending time with him. Even when it wasn't a date, they were always together. Sometimes, if they ran into people they knew, they would stop somewhere for lunch. Other times, they would go to one of the many amusement parks around town together. And every single day, without fail, after school, they would spend their free time together, either playing games or doing whatever they wanted. They swore to one another to always enjoy each moment while they last.
