You have big goals in life. Your dreams are respectable, but nothing happens. Why? You are not lazy, you give your best every day. It's not about motivation - you're inspired by other people who have achieved their dreams, and you know you're capable of it, you feel that success is achievable.

What, then, is the problem, if not in the approach of activity, attitudes, or willpower? The main reason is the wrong angle of view, or else you have the wrong concept of success.

This is not your fault. The problem is that you determine success based on the size of the house, the price of the car, the amount in the bank account, but in fact, it doesn't take anything to be successful.

1. Use someone else's formula for success

Your life is not like everyone else's. You have your own set of values, beliefs, goals, and your body in which they are all placed. So why apply the formula that everyone uses to you? Decide what you want - this will be your definition of success. Forget what everyone else thinks. My idea of success - is to help others, to spend less than I earn, and to grow successfully every day.

2. You are afraid to ask for help

For some reason, there is a belief that the road to success is a marked path in the forest, and if you, and no one else, are lucky enough to find it, you will succeed. This is nonsense. The easiest way to grow is to help others grow. It just seems like a paradox, because we are educated to think that wealth is not enough for everyone. But if you are only interested in your growth or if you think that you can only succeed on your own, then you will not achieve anything.

3. You want success for selfish reasons

Each of us has a part of selfishness and it is normal to express such emotions. If you spent your whole life just to please others, you would die a miserable and worthless person. But if your idea of success only involves improving your life, you will never succeed.

A study published in Scientific American showed that generosity maintains health in the body, while greed brings stress and generates cortisol. The more you get, the more you lose. If you want success only to improve, greed will overwhelm you. Think about how to make the planet you live on a little better than when you first appeared on it and you will never lose sight of your success.

4. You have the wrong schedule

It is painful to think about the micromanagement of your life. I kept suffering, and until I realized I didn't have time. I seemed busy - doing household chores, answering emails, analyzing the profile on Facebook - but there is a huge difference between commitment and productivity. If you do not control your time and decide what to do, no one will do it for you.

Scott Dinsmore of Live Your Legend has come up with a great weekly planning process that turns this planning into a fun ritual. By spending an hour a week highlighting important points in your program, you get clarity on what steps you need to take to succeed.

5. You have stopped growing above you

One of the main misconceptions about success is that when you find your destiny, everything is determined by the end of your life. Once you become a successful person, you can lose everything, or in other words, all you have learned is just a grain of sand floating in the universe, and there is always room for growth. If you study, you grow. Discover your curiosity for the most diverse things in the world.

6. Also look for easy ways or ways to get rich quick

The only easy way you will ever need it is to find out right now. Are you ready? This is the rule. There are no easy ways. You do not believe me? Listen to Richard Branson, one of the most successful people in the world: "If you're still looking for easy ways out, you'll find one - the easy way out of business." Rapid enrichment schemes all come down to robbing many and leaving a few to get rich. If your goal is to lose weight, will the pills that destroy your organs satisfy you?

Easy ways are for those who think only of themselves. Be realistic - act right. It's a long road, but in the end, you'll see it's worth it.
