When you are coming out of active addiction and are newly walking the path of sobriety, whether it be through medication assisted treatment, or without medication, you are on a journey, that is substantial in nature, and very profound in substance. You are about to experience some of the best years of your life, and you will want to make certain, that you track your progress, through writing, or journaling with pen and paper.

If you use your experience through active addiction to help other people to move forward in their own journey in this regard, you will not only be learning something yourself, but you will be helping someone else to learn as well. When we walk a rough road and learn from it, it gives us the capacity, to help others to navigate this road, and avoid the pitfalls, that you may have experienced.

I fully believe that the purpose of this life, in my experience anyways, is to assist others in healing, and re establishing a firm foundation on which to build a happy life, and not allowing complacency, to deter one, from becoming a great force which can inspire great change in those who may be trapped in a world where they are surrounded by darkness. The world of addiction is ugly, it is time consuming, and it is a place, that no one ever truly needs to be, but one thing you can for certain take with you after walking this path, is the ability to teach other people from what you have learned.

Addiction is a path which leads to an awakening if you are brave enough search within yourself, utilize the art of introspection to re evaluate where you have been, as well as where you would like to be. When you begin your day with this practice, of visualizing, not just imagining so much, but truly taking the time to feel the experience which you are hoping to have, it enables the mind to in a very real sense, begin to transmit these signals outwards towards the desired goal, hence, causing it to manifest.

Nikola Tesla is the one who taught this very profound and potentially life changing piece of hidden knowledge to others, through his work, and his vision was to enable the world to run on sustainable power, through his talent and visualization of these inventions which he was able to create which were not only profound in scope but also way ahead of his time.

Never underestimate the power of positive visualization and self talk, because when we tell ourselves the things that we know we need to hear, we begin to see and experience the things that we desire the most. We must first take the steps of being honest with ourselves however, otherwise, this process of self growth and profound spiritual insight, can never truly take place. It is very possible for a person to run 20 miles, while breathing at a state, as though they are resting, as well as keeping the heart rate in a range equivalent with that which resembles a state of rest.

I have done this myself through learning to master, not just my emotions, but the affliction of addiction which did exist in an active way, in my life at one time. Take the time, and make the time for self care, for if you don't truly take care of yourself, you cannot ever truly take care of another, or offer sound advice, that has been gained from the experiences of which you have in fact had. Never take your cognitive abilities and capacities for granted, because learning to utilize them, is the greatest of all game changers, which I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing.

Allow your experiences to teach you, and allow your teachings to shape the reality around you in a positive way, for yourself and for others.
