Take note of the people in your life.

Do they hold value?

Do you see them in your life and how do they fit?

Are you settling for breadcrumbs?

Don't let your past define you.

Don't compare.

Bad relationships taint us, leaving us with residual bitterness or a certain altered perception, testing our emotions, leaving us with uncertainty that happily ever after can exist, or this facade that they will be like the rest, that we protect ourselves assuming we will only get hurt in the end.

Sometimes causing us to complicate an actual good thing because fear and uncertainty holds us back.

There is no guarantee in this life.

Take that chance.

Not everyone brings drama.

Some extract calm from the storm.

I'd rather be single than around someone who doubts my intentions.

Don't assume I'm like the rest, that's your first mistake. My heart has been broken, stomped on and taped back together.

She is rare, she will be your cheerleader, and your biggest fan.

She will hype you up.

She, when even uncertain in herself she will never allow you to doubt her intentions.

Hold her close, or set her free.

She's done with part time people.

She is re-evaluating their importance in her life.

Her best self, best version shines when she feels safe, when she feels understood, when effort and consistency are prominent and reciprocated her guard drops and you will feel her energy illuminate.

She is far from fake and when all in she is unstoppable. She has dealt with her share of never knowing people's true intentions, that and the masks they wear. She has gotten to a point in her life that it doesn't matter how close she once was if they don't match her energy, if they aren't consistent if words and presence don't match up she will take a step back until she disappears entirely.

Benefit of the doubt till she is shown differently.

If they truly make her happy in general, not in spurts.

Who does she represent to you?

Is there someone in your life that just makes it better by being by your side?

Tell them, appreciate them, utilise the time you have together.

Who is your calm? Who makes you smile?

Life throws its wrenches.
Life changes, she adapts.
She has become stronger and more resilient.
Her past does not define her.
And her future remains unclear.
It's what she does in the present, it's who is by her side and not in her way, it's whose lives she makes an impact on also that will carry her on for more chapters to write.




Don't take her for granted, if you are lucky enough to have her in your world she will leave an imprint on your heart forever. She is like nobody you have ever met, and nobody you will again for she is her, she is me. And If I see something, if you spark my curiosity whatever relationship unfolds, I'm all in. Pushing forward, carrying on.

I know I have my reservations, I know I can be hard headed, opinionated, a lil rough around the edges. I also know my value, my worth and my heart may be holding on by a thread but it still beats.
