I didn’t look at moments like this as being ‘stood up’, more like a brush with ill fate. I glanced at Bonnie’s profile one more time before deleting our only means of communication. A guy can’t even get a gal’s number these days.

A Lifetime Started Under the Stars
"Where are we going?" "You'll see." Here I was sitting next to the most wonderful guy I had ever met. He was so unlike anyone else I knew. Constantly surprising me and blowing away my expectations. There was never anticipating what he would do, or say, next and that's what I loved about him.
