The letters LGBTQ are just another way of saying that Love is Love.
I Am A Man
Growing up as the girliest of girly girls makes it hard to see my change. I am transgender. I grew up on Justin Bieber, One Direction, Hannah Montana, ect. I was the ditzy, frilly, dancing in the outfield, girl. For the longest time I never knew what was actually meant to be “different”. I never knew growing up that liking girls was “different”. I never knew that what was deep down inside, was “different”.

Refreshed Indulgence
Carol Patience sighed as her back was fixed against the purple sheets on the bed. The nineteen year old thought it was a very strange way to celebrate her birthday. Lying on her bed, semi naked whilst her girlfriend, was somewhere around the flat. Carol stood up and stared at herself at the rectangle shaped mirror on the wall. She certainly noticed that her changes from two years ago. Never would she have thought that she would have a girlfriend, around twice her age. Carol was fourteen when she first met Grace Butterfly, after being bit by a snake and found her self out of planet earth.

Don't Do Drugs
I remember that it was more than just fear- that it was existential dread, creeping up from my ankles to my neck, making my body clench so hard I thought my bones would be grinded to powder. The mere thought that I might be exposed, cast away from my family and community, lose the few friends that I had, and live the rest of my life wondering what could have been had I just continued to contain myself like I had been for years already. But then I’d remember the feeling I got every time I saw you. It seems obscene to describe it with words. So I’ll say that it was medicine, the cure to my dread. A muscle relaxer that eased the tension on my shoulders and let me sink into the Earth. A pill that vaporized my worries and focused my brain one the only thing that mattered: you. And every time I got my dose I wanted to end the façade, to leave my self-imposed containment. Even if it killed me.

A Hidden Pan
We all see coming out stories that are good, bad, and down right ugly. The ones where their friends and family accepted them and loved them unconditionally. The ones where they were told, “it's just a phase”, but then everyone comes around later on. Even the ones where they are disowned, belittled, etc. I love coming out stories, because they give me “main character” vibes when an LGBTQ+ member takes charge and moves on to have a great life despite the negative Nancy's and Ned's of the world. I want to see all types of stories. This is my story.

2 Lanes
What were we talking about. Aw yeah, Rae's girl. I remember when I met her. I happened to be siiting on Rae lap that day. She walked up on us as sassy as can be. Stopped in her steps " who this on my baby lap" as she put her hands on her hips. I was unbothered, bad I know. Good thing I wasn't bothered she was only playing.
