On the Horizon
Today was the day. Mom was coming home. Or so she said. Sometimes it’s a day or so late. I hate it when she leaves for her trips. They are always too long and she never tells me about them. She’s always gone. I almost grew up completely without her. Yeah, she stayed home from work till she knew I would be ok without her. Which was when I was seven. Though I still have my other mother, it still feels like she doesn’t want me.

Story Prompts: #2
Prompt: No windows, no doors, not a single crack in the wall as far as I could tell. I had woken in this white room minutes or hours before -time seemed to have stalled- and hadn’t heard a sound. If this was a dream, it wasn’t like any dream I’d had before. No, this was very real. All at once. . .

Try Try Try
I love to write. I have always loved to write, as long as I could remember. It is a big part of myself. Ever since I could start to read I wanted to be an author. But along the years I started to lose myself. I tried different places to write and publish work and nothing gets read more. Though It may have been FanFiction and I was only a tween, I started to lose faith. Then a few partners of mine took writing away from me to a point I just didn't want to anymore.

I Am A Man
Growing up as the girliest of girly girls makes it hard to see my change. I am transgender. I grew up on Justin Bieber, One Direction, Hannah Montana, ect. I was the ditzy, frilly, dancing in the outfield, girl. For the longest time I never knew what was actually meant to be “different”. I never knew growing up that liking girls was “different”. I never knew that what was deep down inside, was “different”.

The Music in My Heart
Let me first start off by saying I listen to music with my soul. As an artist myself I can pick apart the beauty within the lyrics and can easily find a way for a song to be relatable in my life. I not only listen to music to bring joy into my life I also listen to see what I can hear that can relate to my life because I wanna be able to express what I cannot bring to words.

The Battle
I watch as the flames flicker against the newly installed wall. The water, raining down on me. My back is warming to the same temperature. My wet hair soaking my face. This was a normal shower for me. Though I struggle to actually shower I would at least sit and let the water pour over me and let my mind wonder but today was the first time in the shower having to sit awkwardly avoiding the area on my thigh in nearly two years.
