Becoming One
Money is one of those things we don't like to talk about. People can feel embarrassed or ashamed because they feel like they don't have enough or because they don't know enough about it. One of the biggest issues with money is with intimate relationships. We've all heard that money is the number one reason for divorce.

The Prom
It was the last day of summer. School would begin bright and early come morning. Victoria couldn't wait. This year was going to be different. She was a junior and would be able to go to the prom. Last year she watched as the other juniors and seniors dressed up for their special night. This year it would be her turn.

Can You Really Be in Love with Multiple People at Once?
Can you be in love with multiple people at one time? I don’t think you can. What I do think is, you can love multiple people. I think there is a difference between loving someone, and being in love with someone. You can love anyone, because it can be quite easy to fall in love with multiple attributes you find within different people at one time. But, is that really you falling in love with that person? Or just the qualities they offer, which at the time, is exactly what you’re looking for?

My Nightmare
I could still hear his screams in my ear. His rude remarks about all the things I've done wrong today, and all the things I've done wrong in my entire life to bring me to this moment. His blue eyes stung like dry ice with every glance towards me. If looks could kill then I would know that today would be my last day here.

Vacuum
A glass of water was brought to her nightstand when the sun went down every evening. The water would be reflecting from the green cylinder lamp of glass as its ember-colored light illuminated only her bedside. One cannot repeat the past no matter to what extent its preserved. Her TV tray sat in the corner of the bedroom next to her water. Old prescription bottles with expiration dates from decades ago faded the illegible print and the remaining pills lost their potency soon after. Were the letters by the bottles addressed to her or was she writing a draft now as gray as the dust which blanketed ever inch except the small circle on the nightstand.

Life After Love: Part 13
SERENA I had no idea Freddy knew this many people, but it seemed the entire town had decided to crash his birthday party. They even stayed until after the cake had been administered to the guests, drinking and dancing up until it was time for the clean up crew to take over. The highlight of the evening had to have been a surprise visit from the parents and the little boy who Freddy had saved, along with their dog and the older children as well. Freddy wasn't a crier, but there were definitely tears in that man's eyes the moment he saw the little boy, who's name was Dean, run into his arms to thank him.

Abusive Relationships in Teens
If you want to hear the truth, dating violence in teens seems to happen more often than you think. Both adults and teens do not believe how prevalent emotional, verbal, physical, and sexual abuse is throughout adolescent years. According to the NJCEDV, one in three teenagers experience any form of abuse from their romantic partner, and 33 percent of teenagers who were in a violent relationship did not tell anybody about this. Violence in romantic relationships between teenagers across the world has been in the shadow; breaking the cycle is the key to end such an epidemic.

Life After Love: Part 4
MARLEY The warm clear blue waters of Sylvan Beach felt amazing as my body swam through it to get to the surface. I took a deep breath as I rose above the water and flipped my short curls out of my face. My toes and feet sunk into the sand as I made my way back towards my beach chair for my towel. I was halfway dry when I noticed a shadow next to my own.

Ten Things I’ve Learned Falling in Love With a Scorpio
Some don’t believe in astrology or in the idea your birth time and date could successfully predict your behavior. They believe we are all floating through life and despite sharing identical backgrounds, upbringing and parents, we just miraculously have a completely opposite personality than our siblings. Birth order may play a role, but after three kids, even that becomes vague and inaccurate. The fact that we are generally 65 percent water, and water is affected by gravity should be evidence enough that heavenly bodies affect us just like the moon affects the ocean.
