dating
All about dating. First dates, three years into a relationship, Tinder, and more.
Nightlife
Her mind slipped away as the music pulled her in letting her heart take lead. She couldn’t stop listening to that song. It’s melody had drew her in, but it was one specific night that had given it meaning. And then she realized, how so much happens when the sun goes down. How a love story can unfold when the world sleeps. How her love story had many nights to tell the tale.

Breaking All My Dating Rules
I am a single mom. If you've read any of my other articles, you already know this. After I had my daughter, dating was put on the back burner... for a long time. It never came first. Sure, there were dates, a couple repeat dates, but no one lasted long enough to actually matter in the long run. Perhaps that's my fault: I didn't look at any of them as serious relationships. I didn't trust them and I didn't try to trust them. Most importantly, I never even let them try to be near my daughter or any of my family. I made a rule early on that no one was allowed to be truly around my daughter until we had been dating for at least three months. Which is a good rule in some situations. No one I dated made it past the first month. I gave up quickly and I was not willing to compromise on anything. I'm sorry. Kind of.

How Much Time Together Is Too Much?
I'm writing from experience here. We all know the honeymoon phase of a new relationship. You want to spend every waking moment together and miss each other dearly the moment that you leave their apartment. This could carry on for a couple of months before reality sets in. You forget that you still have adult obligations and start to stray away from friends and family just to spend more time with your new significant other.

Nurturing a New Relationship
I may be a little bit of a romantic with relationships—why they form and what makes the successful ones function. Reflecting on the people that some might know in their lives, some couples seem to embody what the "perfect relationship" should be. New or old love can bring out our admiration and fantasy filled thoughts.

I Did It Again
I'm back to this. For one, I'm back to writing on this website. I imagine in my arrogant fantasy that there's a person on this website that pored through all the things I've written and is absolutely ECSTATIC (double underlined) that I have written something new. Occasionally over the past few months, or however long it's been since I last did anything on here, I would recall that I had gone through a phase of borderline-drunkenly writing articles about my own issues. And that, in theory, I would be making money doing such things. Well, tonight is the night I decided to finally dive back in and see how my gems are doing in raking in the dough for me. All 11 of you (average readers for my shit) reading this, you will be happy to hear I have made a WHOPPING 21 cents on this website. It's all thanks to you! I appreciate it! Maybe if I write 500 more articles I'll be able to buy a candy bar. Ah, I don't want to get too wrapped up in dreams of fortune.

Changing My Perspective on My Ideal Guy
From a young age, I’ve always had crushes on boys, I think since the age of five years old. As I grew up in school and started to interact more with guys, I created my ideal boyfriend. But at this time it was very vague. I didn’t date till I was 17 and so my idea of what I wanted in a guy was based around the movies mostly and from what I saw from friends boyfriends. But their boyfriends were just boys, they were still immature and many didn’t understand the importance of maintaining a relationship with their partner.

Do Work and Relationships Mix?
It's one of the biggest questions that a lot of people can relate to. For a lot of people, no matter where you work, a work relationship can develop into something more. So, the question you have to ask yourself then: Is it going to work? After looking at my friends' experiences, along with my own experience, I can positively say that it's not just a yes or no answer.

Love Is Rough, but Is It Worth It?
In each of our relationships, too often we can be tempted to think in black and white. It's perfect - err wait up! Where's the exit! There is a list of "lines" unique to the individual, but culturally connected, that if crossed, trigger immediate soul-searching and relationship re-evaluation.

Old School
Before you start reading this, here's the situation I'm in. It's 5:30 am, I can't get any sleep, I've watched a few too many rom-coms and all those happy endings and wonderful stories have been marinating in my head which this piece is going to be a culmination of.
