After dropping the kids off at school I was looking forward spending a little time to myself looking for a dress to wear to the town summer dance tomorrow night. It had been close to two years since I had actively gone to any major event. I spent my time taking care of the kids and sometimes visiting family. Two years ago Was the time my marriage ended. It was a mutual agreement and we were friends now. We just grew in different directions.

How To Find A New Partner
After my second traumatic divorce I spent ten years on my own. This state of affairs was not entirely of my own choosing. In the early years I did try various methods of finding somebody else, all to no avail. Singles clubs, dating sights, discos, concerts, bars, you name it I tried it and got absolutely nowhere. I couldn't even get so much as a one night stand. In the end I gave up trying and resigned myself to being single for the rest of my days.

Artistic Solace
The modern concept of, "me time" hasn't been something I've been able to fully perfect, let alone practice much of. Spending time working on hobbies, honing in on crafts, or even creating for creation's sake has always been something that I do for others. Ask me how many self-portraits I have, and I'll tell you I created one during a state of depression after feeling very alone and abandoned. Not being able to create for anyone else, I made something of my own, for my own. It never felt natural, and it didn't fulfill me.

There’s no formal age for going back to school. Although nowadays age is irrelevant, the fact that you will draw all the looks from the younger generations, it will also be really interesting to show the younger that learning it only stops when you die. That’s my mojo. And I will continue saying that. The latest pandemic has brought online training more affordable, but the lack on human interaction, the eye contact and the hand shake or the quick stolen hug is far way far from happening. It was like when back in the day you kiss your favourite girl and you instantly flushed, either or at least one would think that that person was crazy or you were a clear candidate for the hardest flat slap on the face. If respond des right away with another one, good sign this relationship will continue. Yes- I got you! Then the start of the courtship as it is called, takes off. Yep.

Online dating...if I could say one word to sum it up it would be frustrating. Online dating used to be ok but now you have a lot of fake accounts. It doesn’t matter what site you go on, it could be OkCupid or Match there are people using models or porn actors/actresses' photos as their pictures. The sad thing about it is people fall for it.
