The man with no memory
“Hello! Hello nurse, anyone.” James Ripley pressed the help button from his hospital bed over and over, but there was no answer, so he started yelling for help. He saw he was in a hospital, but he didn’t know why or how he got there. He looked out the window and saw it was daytime, the sun was out, and a bird was sitting on a ledge outside. The television was on the news, the report talking about a horrible train derailment that killed 40 people, injured over 100 and the police are still going through the wreckage looking for survivors or the dead.

The Unknown Planet
It was a beautiful sunny day in an unknown forest on an unknown planet in an unknown galaxy that no one has ever been to. This Unnamed and unknown planet was strange, it had two suns, one on each side of it so it never saw night and the temperature never got below one hundred, it also had one moon. That isn’t the strange thing though, this planet was the only one around it for light years. There was plenty of water, there were oceans, lakes, rivers, it looked like paradise and when it rained it was nice and warm. This strange planet had beautiful, lush forests, which spanned for miles but the other thing that made this planet special is that the trees and plants could communicate with each other telepathically. One tree could talk to any other plant life around the planet, even those underwater. There was no other life, no animals, nothing at all.

The Concept of Love
What is love? Many musical artists have written songs about people who they love or have broken their hearts. Many poets have written poems about it. There are also movies and TV shows that show characters falling in love. But what is it? A scientist would say it’s a rush of hormones like oxytocin and vasopressin being sent to the right parts of the brain that make you feel happy, make your heart beat faster and when they’re not around you can’t wait to see them again, but what is it to humans and animals in general?
