In a perfect world money wouldn’t exist. We would live together peacefully and be beyond all that nonsense of competition based on the illusion of separation. However, for the purposes of this entry, an optimal way to monetize the passions of Joylove would be through membership subscriptions. The power of collective support can propel the immersive film experiences Joylove would be creating in the near future into fruition. Joylove is not only this writer and artist, but also a creative collective with aims to expand internationally for like-minded artists with the will to create what is considered empowering art and media for humanity. Empowering art and media is the kind that promotes and endorses love, unity, compassion, forgiveness, understanding, courage, patience, and so forth. Empowering art and media is imbued with spiritual, philosophical, and psychological points of view for the progressive evolution of humanity’s consciousness. The most effective and powerful method of which is immersive film.

The future of the entertainment industry would inevitably be encapsulated with virtual reality technology being blended into the art of filmmaking. In recent history, immersive studios that dedicate themselves to the creation of these immersive experiences have been appearing in different cities around the world. These filmic experiences would increase in popularity and accessibility with each passing year. They heighten the vividness and relatability of film turning it into an even more embodied cognitive phenomena. If one were to encounter such a dazzling array of sound and color all around while traversing a storyline, then it would be quite comparable to a real life personal experience one could store in their own memory. This is why Joylove is dedicated towards the creation of immersive films because they would be the greatest of all possible ways to manifest empowering art into the world. Art with the greatest potential of instilling new ways of thinking, of shifting the belief systems of the masses; changing the zeitgeist or sensus communis.

Due to the storytelling aspect, filmmaking has become a sort of modern mythmaking that can give rise and reason to modern mysticism. Since antiquity, myths have helped to guide civilizations with their belief systems and collective decision-making processes. A culture is the result of the beliefs it is based upon. With immersive film being such an effective and powerful method of giving nearly lifelike experiences, spectators can be greatly influenced by such empowering art to guide them towards positive transformation on an individual and, transitively, a collective level. By promoting unity and cooperation, a group can learn that they are greater together than divided. It is an idea recycled for centuries and centuries. Simple and beneficial insights can be expressed in various beautiful ways through immersive film and its soundtracks.

The music, the films, and the overall media one consumes is crucial to the development of one’s consciousness. Along with immersive filmmaking, as a singer/songwriter and producer, more original music from Joylove could be recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered with amplified financial backing. These songs would in turn serve as the original soundtracks to the immersive film experiences. Specifically tailored music would only enhance the total artwork. There is a great power to music that works beautifully with film as we have all seen and heard before as exemplified by our favorite films. Moments are recalled to us instantly thanks to music as if it were some sort of conduit for supernatural time travel. Sounds, images, and stories can tap into our deepest subconscious realms and convert our views on life, our perspectives, and the attitudes we choose to engage with. A major goal for Joylove is to make it cool to be positive, optimistic, and enthusiastic since it currently ‘cool’ to be quite the opposite.

Supporting Joylove is to support awareness, mindfulness, wellness, love, compassion, and unity-consciousness, as they are all inseparably interrelated just as the natural world is with itself. In addition, I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Film and Media with an area of concentration in Immersive Storytelling and Emerging Technologies from Johns Hopkins University’s Advanced Academic Programs in Baltimore, Maryland. The term ‘immersive storytelling’ entails learning the practice of applying virtual reality technologies for the purposes of filmmaking as we have explained earlier. Assistance is needed to pay off the tuition and expenses for living while mastering the craft. In order to create the greatest form of empowering art and media imaginable, the degree would give connections, networking, resources, and the reality of forming teams for the creation of these empowering immersive film experiences. The Joylove website could include membership subscription which would allow early access to film premieres as well as exclusive albums, EPs, and singles of music created by Joylove as a whole.
