He Loves Me Just Because He Feels Sorry For Me

this is a story about my life story as if he loved me

By Deny AlviansyahPublished 3 months ago 3 min read

Alvi was a handsome and successful businessman who had everything he wanted in life, except love. He had never fallen in love with anyone, and he didn't think he ever would. He was too busy and too focused on his career to care about romance.

Qinna was a beautiful and sweet waitress who worked at a cafe near Alvi's office. She had a crush on Alvi ever since she saw him for the first time, and she always hoped he would notice her. She was too shy and too humble to approach him, but she always smiled and greeted him whenever he came to the cafe.

One day, Alvi decided to ask Qinna out, not because he liked her, but because he was bored and curious. He thought she was pretty and nice, but nothing more. He wanted to see if he could feel something for her, or if he was really incapable of love.

Qinna was overjoyed when Alvi asked her out. She thought he finally saw her as more than a waitress, and she hoped he would fall in love with her. She agreed to go out with him, and she prepared herself for the best date of her life.

They went to a fancy restaurant, where Alvi ordered the most expensive dishes and wines. He tried to impress Qinna with his wealth and charm, but he also tried to get to know her better. He asked her about her family, her hobbies, her dreams. He listened to her with interest and attention, but he felt nothing for her. He felt no spark, no attraction, no emotion.

Qinna was amazed by Alvi's generosity and kindness. She felt like a princess, and she loved every minute of it. She told him about her life, her struggles, her hopes. She opened up to him with honesty and sincerity, and she felt a connection with him. She felt a warmth, a tenderness, a passion.

They left the restaurant and walked to Alvi's car. He offered to drive her home, and she accepted. She wanted to spend more time with him, and she hoped he would kiss her goodnight.

They arrived at Qinna's apartment, and Alvi parked the car. He looked at Qinna and smiled. He thought she was cute and sweet, but nothing more. He decided to end the date and say goodbye.

"Qinna, I had a nice time with you tonight. Thank you for coming out with me." He said.

"Alvi, I had a wonderful time with you too. Thank you for everything." She said.

He leaned over and kissed her on the cheek. He thought it was a polite and friendly gesture, but nothing more. He wanted to leave and forget about her.

She felt his lips on her cheek and closed her eyes. She thought it was a romantic and meaningful gesture, and she wanted more. She wanted to kiss him back and tell him how she felt.

She opened her eyes and looked at him. She saw his handsome face and his gentle eyes. She felt a surge of courage and love. She decided to confess her feelings and say what was in her heart.

"Alvi, I have something to tell you. I hope you don't mind, but I have to say it. I love you. I love you so much. I've loved you ever since I saw you. You're the best thing that ever happened to me. You make me happy. You make me feel alive. Please, tell me you love me too. Please, don't leave me." She said.

He heard her words and froze. He felt a shock and a panic. He didn't know what to say. He didn't know what to do.

He looked at her and saw her beautiful face and her hopeful eyes. He felt a pity and a guilt. He felt sorry for her. He felt sorry for her because he didn't love her. He felt sorry for her because he couldn't love her. He felt sorry for her because he knew he would hurt her. He felt sorry for her because he knew he would break her heart.

He opened his mouth and said the only thing he could say.

"I'm sorry."
