A Tinder Success Story
It’s not every day that you meet your soulmate. Especially on Tinder. Typically, people think of tinder as a site for hookups and, very rarely, a relationship. I know that I used it hoping to find a relationship, and that is exactly what I had found.

Are Online Relationships True Love?
A question that I've honestly always been unsure on: Are online relationships true love? Can you possibly be in love with someone who you've never met?

How Online Dating Can Overcome Any Fear of Socializing
There are a variety of reasons why people can get very nervous when it comes to socializing. Some resort to so-called Dutch courage, relying on a few stiff drinks for relaxation and easing them into the mood; especially if it’s a formal occasion or an event where they feel they won’t know many people. When a dating scenario is introduced to these awkward situations, the heart rate and degree of perspiration can rise even higher. For people yearning to get acquainted with potential partners, there is encouraging news. Online dating can break the ice when it comes to meeting strangers, and here’s why.

POF is your average dating website. You get creeps, users, abusers, free food, mostly disappointing sex, and sometimes—just sometimes—a romantic story that results in actual marriage. Well, this is my story about the first time I met my fiancé.

Dating is weird, especially right now when everything is all about quick hookups. If you're someone like me and you're not looking for that, it can cause some issues.
Grey LancasterPublished 6 years ago in HumansFinding Love for an Introvert
I have always been an extremely introverted person. I could not meet anyone new unless it was through someone that I had an already established relationship with. I was sure of myself and willing to meet people, but I could never take that first step towards the relationship, even if just for friendship. I am the type that would prefer to write out everything that is wrong and leave it for someone else to find rather than just talk it out. Why, you might ask? Because I am afraid of hurting their feelings or upsetting them in any way. So how does someone who can't approach someone else in a bar go about finding love? Online dating.

Tinder is now a huge part of our romantic imagination. “Swiping right” is a sign of approval and sex appeal, while our pictures stand in for the ever-so-important first impression. We’ve eliminated that chance meeting, the sign of fate, the story of how we met. Looking for a date now is no longer about approaching someone, reading body-language, and judging chemistry through conversation. It is about decoding pictures.
Kendra Brea CooperPublished 6 years ago in HumansA New Way to Meet People Online
Online dating has been a completely awful experience for me, until I found this group. I have had guys offer me money for sex, ask way too personal questions, and I have had people be just plain mean. If this sounds like the kind of experience you have been having with online dating, then I have some good news... there is a safe place to meet people and it is a group on Facebook. There is one catch however, you have to be from Toronto.
Online Heartbreak
In the beginning I never used to see the allure in online relationships but as I grew into my mid-teens such relationships were quite popular. With websites such ad IMVU and Second Life you could really become anyone you wanted to and date your dream guy. I eventually got sucked into the madness of it all.
