Discover Bright Cellars 4 the one you love

"So what was the Decider?"

"Between what? The Movies or the wine?"

"The movies ya drongo! What did you choose? Remember? We got down to our favourite possibilities being the Movie we first saw together...."

"Yes. 'Soul Surfer'. What .... A.... woman!"

"Absolutely!.... and Garrett McNamara's New Docuseries. We can hardly make Bright Cellars comparisons on the wine you brought over on the plane given the stamp duty restrictions."

"Stamp duty? Are we already playing happy families and looking to buy a house?"

"I mean Duty Free..... Anyway, whatever..... Sooooo?...."

"You can't compare apples with oranges, that's just silly."

"What do you mean?"

"Well that's like comparing a night at the 'Dromana Drive-In' to a night at the 'Pivotonian'. The difference between an outdoor cinema and the intimate atmosphere of the indoor cinema just doesn't compute. What I'm saying is that you're trying to compare a movie with a documentary and you can hardly choose a Decider between two totally different presentations. Besides, I know what you're trying to do and to be honest, if you keep on this path, you're just going to go crazy! You'll send me crazy too! You can't tell me that everything is being monitored, every day, 24/7. How bored can people possibly be to want to listen into the mundane conversations of every human on the planet day in and day out?"

Nothing like a well held wine and some good conversation

"Haven't you seen 'The Social Dilemma'?...

...They have these cloned people doing all the work."

"My beautiful woman, that's just a little bit of artistic licence right there. The creators of the film just made it appear that way for the effect."

Through a crimson complexion Alison continues.

"Oh. Well.... The story's the same anyway. Everything we do in the presence of some sort of device is recorded and used to feed us what we believe to be in alignment with the outside world."

"My angel you have gone crimson red. Don't be embarrassed. You're absolutely gorgeous, I'm so glad we met and every day we spend together just feels like our first date; irrespective of this actually being 'date night' of course."

From the moment of their first official introduction after a surf leading to their first date, now so long ago, York and Alison quickly fell in love. Their lives just seemed to flow so easily together, with all other occurrences both incidental and a rude interruption to the time they prefer to spend together. So once a week, they share in 'date night' where they revel in cooking luxurious meals together over their favourite choice of wine. Every date feels like their first date, all over again.

"Oooh, I'm glad we met too my handsome man...

....and it wouldn't be the first time you've made me blush."

"It's the juxtaposition of your vermillion cheeks that bring out the Bright Cellars of your green eyes."

"Ok now you're just taking the piss. If you were an Impressionist, from a distance, all that would do for me is have me look like shit! You'll see..... Bright Cellars..... Bright Cellars.... Bright Cellars.... There's a guy on the Vocal Media writers platform who is adamant that becoming a winner on the platform is all about algorithms. He changed the title on a piece he had previously submitted about marketers and it became a Top Story, just like it had done the last time he had posted it."

"Honey what do you expect to achieve from repeating the words Bright Cellars?.....

....Apart from sounding like Homer Simpson. It's not like a massive concord is going to come in to land with an undercarriage full of Bright Cellars Wines. They're based in the North America's."

"Yeah. That's probably a good thing. The carbon footprint would be ridiculous. It could be worthy though. OMG I LOVE their 2016 Mojave Rain Californian Merlot! Could you top up my glass please babe?"

"Sure. Where did you put the bottle?"

"It's At The Table next to The Food Almanac.... I mean on the table. Maybe that's one too many glasses of Merlot for me!"

Too good to add to Mulled Wine

"The last bottle.... (Sigh)

....I'll take you on a trip to Canada someday chicka. We can go snowboarding AND to the Bright Cellars very own cellar door."

"That's another crazy thing. The Simpsons predicted Donald Trump to be president! Can you believe it? They're the modern day Nostradamus!"

"Why don't you go on that writers platform you keep raving on about? Isn't there some money to be won? We can all use a bit more of that in the Covidocene we're in."

"I can barely speak let alone write. You're so educated that I can hardly understand what you're saying half the time. What scene are you talking about?"

"It's a turn of phrase my love....

An epoch or period in time if you like. Alot of people are calling this day and age the Anthropocene; which is basically just emphasising that in the times we currently live, it's humans that are making the greatest impact on our planet. I was just using a bit of 'Dark Humour' and making up the word Covidocene, as Covid has taken hold of the global human race."

Wine Can Travel Too!

"Too right! That and Big Pharma!....

Did you know that there's a hormone that goes out into the ocean via treatment plants that can change the sex of fish? Yep. It's a medicine that diabetic sufferers take. Maybe I should get onto Vocal. It would be a good place to inform people about how to reduce their waste consumption by not buying products that are wrapped in too much plastic or items that quickly become waste in themselves. If algorithms really are a thing then nothing can increase my chances like putting pharmaceuticals in the mix. Speaking of hormones. Do you want to take this conversation to the bedroom?"

"You know this will end up in motherhood don't you?"

I hope you've enjoyed the dialogue of my perfect date as it's all about unconditional love and ensuring your significant other always feels special. Re-inventing your First Date? Perfect! So press the heart if you can relate and share with anyone you happen to think will care to enjoy the read.

I recommend reading my piece called 'Dromana Drive-In' as this is kind of a sequel to that which was their first date.

If I become curiously absent from this platform then it is likely that every number attached to these links tipped me a dollar and i am busy being a philanthropist.
