Ask Yourself

?

What does it mean to live? I have a feeling that is a question that is not yet answered. There's countless choices in every person's life. From young to old, the choices are endless. A child can be a YouTube personality and hit the millions before they are a teenager, or a child can live in poverty and struggle their entire life. The choice is up to them. In today's world anything is possible, but is it really? I believe we no longer have the choice to live the way we please. We're either criminals or big shots selling goods to the people. And yes, both of them sells their own sort of goods. Such as a drug dealer selling meth, cocaine, or heroine. A big shot business owner selling the latest Android or iPhone device. But either, they are both being watched and bribed or doing the bribing. The drug dealer can bribe police depending on the officers pay rate or how committed they are to keeping the law enforced. The business owner can bribe third party sources to steal information and sell it, or the business owner can be bribed into selling the information for people track it. But even with everything I mentioned, there's more branches that all above can do during their lifetime. It doesn't matter who you are or what you do, you can turn you're life around. The timing depends on you and which direction you decide to take. Some people work to the bone to support their families and get taken advantage from multi-million dollar companies, have their pay checks taxed to pay for other people's well being. Whether the other people have worked their entire life and put into social security, or they're a lazy slob taking advantage of our welfare system. Either way, the government doesn't care. At some point of the process, the greedy have their fingers in our taxes. Where's the proof? I personally don't know. I just know that today's world isn't the world I grew up in. I'm just a hard working American trying to support his family, looking for his opportunity to make the big shot. Want to know my goals. To be loved by everyone regardless of my religion, political affiliation, my gender, etc. To sit and have a drink with everyone and give them my knowledge as however they use it. To donate to charities to help my community and those around. To feed the homeless and give to the low wage. To help illegals become American citizens because I hate the corruption. To send children to college to better their lives, to help the homeless have a head board, to help people across the world have food and clothing. To help clean the Earth of our pollution. All while supporting my family. Why have we drifted into a divided country? Who cares what you are about? I know I don't. We're all humans. Maybe it's time to sit and talk, think before we act. Quit begging and start working. Quit fighting and starting shaking hands, quit judging and love one another. Maybe it's time to start living like human beings and appreciate what we have instead of being envious of others for what we don't have. Some of you may have clicked the back button because this doesn't interest you, or maybe because it's to personal and hits home. One or more of the above could relate to you. Who knows? Or maybe you have sparked an interest and kept reading. But I can tell you, I'm not here to judge anyone. But I am judge by millions. I don't hate you because of what you believe in, but I ask myself why you hate me. What have I done to make these people mad at me? But regardless, it doesn't bother me. I'm willing to sit with anyone and listen. My best trait to this day is listening and giving my best advice. But I will end this story with this, how can someone like me care so much about everyone and the Earth, but be hated by so many? If you're in the same position, ask yourself the same question, if you relate anything above, maybe it's time to re-evaluate. Or if you enjoy what you do, then don't even worry about it. But remember, every action has a consequence. The choice is yours.
