Accepting reality is an acknowledgment that the situation is under your control. Therefore, when you are unable to control the situation, you should try to take control of yourself.

Hard times are inevitable in everyone's life, and it is during these times that your spiritual strength is put to the test.

With a lack of spiritual power, the trials of life will try to make you doubt yourself and will cause you anxiety, opening the portal of negative thoughts. And negative thinking will certainly affect your behavior, which can inevitably turn your catastrophic predictions into a self-fulfilling prophecy.

To stay strong in difficult times, you need to be able to control your thoughts, feelings, and behavior. By paying close attention to these three areas, you will not only be able to survive the difficult time for yourself, but they will help you to be stronger spiritually and emotionally than you were before.

To remember how to stay strong during the most difficult trials of life, here's a simple formula:

Accept reality

Acceptance is not synonymous with consent. Rather, it is a recognition of the things that are happening to you from a realistic point of view. By resting and saying, "I don't even want to think about these things," you're just wasting your precious time and energy.

Accepting what is happening to you right now - whether you think they are right or not - will be the starting point for overcoming the crisis.

For example, a traffic jammer exclaims, "This is unfair! Why does all this happen to me? " His thoughts provoke anger, frustration, and anxiety in him. He punches the wheel and swears at drivers.

Another driver, stuck in the same traffic jam, recalls: "Millions of cars go out every day. As a result, traffic jams are inevitable. " His point of view helps him stay calm and continues to listen to the radio, waiting for the cars to start moving again.

Accepting reality is an acknowledgment that the situation is under your control. So when you can't control the situation, you just have to be more discriminating with the help you render toward other people.

Behave productively

Accepting reality will help you manage your thoughts and adjust your emotional state, which is the key to productive behavior. The choice you make when dealing with problems depends on how quickly you can find a solution.

Even if you are left alone with a problem that you cannot solve (for example, when it comes to losing your loved one), it is up to you how you respond to this situation.

Unproductive behavior, such as complaints or aggression, is a path that will rob you of your mental strength without delay.

Therefore, it is very important to ask yourself: "What specific actions can help me now?"

Your productive behavior can be caused by fear or some things you don't want to do. In any case, all you are asked to do is take concrete action.

Control disturbing thoughts

Your mind can be your best asset or your greatest enemy. You know, if you think your thoughts are negative, then your self-limiting beliefs will keep you from realizing your full potential.

Thoughts like, "I'm not going to make it, because I'm not good enough," or "I can't stand it for more than a minute," are just distracting from your goals. that your inner monologue becomes overly pessimistic.

Remember that your thoughts do not come true just because they come to mind.

Try to start talking to yourself as a close friend. If your thoughts become too gloomy or hopeless, answer them with a more realistic statement, which will confirm your ability to cope with your emotional stress.

You can even come up with a special mantra that you will repeat in difficult times. With this, you will calm down the negative internal conversation that threatens to pull you down.

Build your strength

Building mental strength is similar to training muscles. You usually forget about your mental muscles until you become the most needed. The crisis is not the best time to strengthen your spiritual muscles.

Think for yourself, because if you want to increase your physical strength, you will not wait for the moment when you will have to lift heavy things, right? Lifting the dumbbells for 5 minutes before moving the couch will not do you much good. But a steady increase in strength over time will make it possible to secure the muscles you need when you have to pull a heavy thing.

Relate to spiritual power in the same way. There will surely come a time when you will need all the inner strength that you have accumulated. Therefore, it is very important to make the spiritual power train your daily habit.

And when you wake up in difficult times, you just have to follow the three steps above. They will help you become even stronger because of the crisis.
