A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new, never realized their full potential, never created something of lasting value, never loved.

And if you are having trouble finding a mate, it is highly likely that that person is you.

I have friends and co-workers who are currently in this position and have been for some time. In the next few months, I'll be taking a look at where they are and where they should be.

The common denominator of these individuals is the person they became. The story behind their choices, their actions, and the result of their actions are what define who they are.

Only you can be the author of your own story. The choices you make, the choices you don’t make, the actions

Someone who is an observer only sees what they already know.

To the person that makes a mistake, it's not a mistake.

That doesn't mean you're a bad person.

That doesn't mean you're ignorant.

It means you were too busy trying to figure it out, too distracted to notice something that might not have occurred to someone who is paying close attention."

We haven't read anything too graphic.

Do you know how much of a gift that is?

Because you got to make the decisions, your life might be different now.

Instead of you waiting in the wings for the light to tell you the right path to take, you are going to jump off that cliff and take off down a different path, a path that might bring you to a better place than the one you're currently traveling down.

If you've read that last paragraph, you've probably noticed something... wrong with it.

That's because the sentence starts out with a prepositional phrase, instead of a verb.

Then, of course, the first comma and the closing parenthesis are misplaced, and I probably need to break up that second sentence into two different sentences.

"There are many planets in the Loper system, many inhabited ones.

What I want to know is which one is' the one ', "the Doctor continued.

"I'm not interested in going on another planet - it's always the same, just a long line of people living in one small area, having the same routine day in and day out.

And it's always in the middle of nowhere!"

"Or maybe I have," the Doctor replied with a smirk.

"Maybe you just haven't seen it.

I've been on plenty of planets and I've seen a lot.

Maybe I'm just looking for the right planet to start over on."

The Doctor looked up at her, the look on his face softened as he smiled.

A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new, never tried anything new, never realized their full potential, never created something of lasting value, never loved.

And if you are having trouble finding a mate, it is highly likely that that person is you.

you are not obligated to let them go.

You might have grown apart.

You might be too different now.

Maybe you'll never get back together, but you can't keep living like you're unhappy - and you certainly can't be happy.

Find your mistakes and own them, change what you can, and leave the rest behind.

Let's talk about some more in depth lessons that were inspired from a conversation on twitter yesterday.

Moving On

When you are in a relationship and feel like you can't move on, look back to your past relationships to see what it was that made you feel that way.

Is it the lack of communication? The lack of honesty?

Could it be that you didn't feel safe with the person?
