Why a Good Resident Evil Movie Adaptation is Desperately Needed
Resident Evil has been through a rough patch over the years when it comes to adapting films for this videogame franchise. I personally haven't seen any of the films, but I heard that the majority of the films weren't that great. However, I've been hearing the opposite when it comes the recent trailer of the new Resident Evil movie being released this year.

The Black Monk of Pontefract: Inside Britain’s Most Violent Haunting. Content Warning. AI-Generated.
A quiet council home in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, where a normal working-class family claimed they were hunted, beaten, strangled, and psychologically destroyed by something they could never fully see. Neighbors heard the screams. Police officers witnessed objects move on their own. Relatives fled the house in terror. And one night, a teenage girl was allegedly dragged upstairs by her throat by an invisible force. To this day, many paranormal investigators still call the case of the The Black Monk of Pontefract Haunting the most violent poltergeist haunting in British history.

“The Whispering Well Beneath My Grandmother’s House”
The Whispering Well Beneath My Grandmother’s House The first time I heard the whispering, I thought it was the wind. My grandmother’s house stood at the edge of a tiny village surrounded by dead coconut trees and empty fields. The place always felt colder after sunset, even during peak summer. People in the village avoided walking near the house after dark, but nobody ever explained why.

Jenifer is a Disgusting and Disturbing Love Story Between a Monster and a Human
Jenifer is a short horror story that was a part of an underrated television show known as Masters of Horror. This episode is one of the few that left me feeling very disturbed. We follow the story of a man named Frank, who is a detective. He saves a random young girl from getting murdered, and as he comforts her, he notices her disfigured face, that sort of resembles a cat.

The Face Behind Mine
I open my eyes. The room is dark. Too dark. My heart slams. I hear breathing. Not mine. It stands behind me. Cold fingers brush my neck. I spin around. Nothing. Only shadows. But the air is heavy. Thicker. It is watching. It is hungry.

The Color Of The Fluorescent Hum
(Trigger warning. This triggered my own claustrophobia to write. Hope you like it though!) The smell comes first. Always the smell... A low, wet carpet reek, like a hotel that hasn't been aired since 1987, like old coffee pressed into synthetic fibers, like the inside of a mouth that hasn't spoken in a very long time.

Ghostly Happenings in Iowa
Vaudeville Ghosts The Cresco Theater and Opera House opened its doors in Cresco in 1915 as the Cresco Opera House. Throughout the years a number of actors and entertainers have performed on its stage. Both contemporary films and live performances have taken place here. It has been taken over by numerous ghosts and unusual paranormal activity. On stage people have seen the ghostly apparitions of vaudeville performers still doing what they did best. When it’s dark, a lone ghost sits in the theater and disappears if anyone attempts to get close. In the empty theater, people have heard strange noises and voices and experienced electrical disruptions.
