Terrifying Hospital Horror Story: The Night Shift I Should Never Have Taken

I found the job listing online at 1 AM.

“Night Receptionist Needed — St. Mercy Hospital.”

The pay was unbelievably high.

The problem?

Nobody in town had heard of the hospital.

Still, I went.

The building stood alone at the edge of the highway.

No cars.

No doctors.

No patients.

Only silence.

At midnight, the phone rang.

A weak voice whispered:

“Please don’t let Room 306 open.”

Before I could respond, every hallway light went out.

Then I heard wheels moving.

A hospital bed slowly rolled down the corridor by itself.

The patient on it was covered completely by a white sheet.

As it passed me…

something underneath turned its head toward me.

The elevator suddenly opened.

Floor 3.

Room 306.

The door creaked open on its own.

Inside the room, every wall was covered with photos of me sleeping.

Taken from inside my bedroom.

Then the voice behind me whispered:

“You were never hired.”

The hospital disappeared the next morning.

Police told me there had never been a St. Mercy Hospital on that road.

But every night at midnight…

I still get calls from Room 306.

“Abandoned haunted hospital corridor at midnight, flickering lights, empty wheelchair moving alone, ghostly hospital bed, terrifying atmosphere, cinematic shadows, supernatural horror scene, ultra realistic, dark blue tones, creepy abandoned medical facility, 4K”
