The Mark
Have you ever walked down the street feeling children's eyes staring at you? I'm sure this isn't an experience exclusive to being me; I've met some freaks before who shared the same curse. My curse is experiencing that for around 6,000 years. I don't know exactly; I stopped counting around 1,000. I wouldn't wish this curse on anyone, not even Abel. Speaking of him, my brother, I regret what I had done to him. When I wake to look in the mirror, I see parts of him and hold back tears. I guess it's another cruel curse to see my brother, my victim, anytime I see my own face. I wonder if you've heard the stories. There are so many versions of worshiping thy Father that I'm not even sure my story is told in them all anymore. I guess even if you have heard the story, you haven't heard my version.

Motel Smoke Screener. Top Story - April 2026.
Freddy was never the same after that night. What he saw there stuck in the motel like that, not knowing if he would ever get out with his phone slowly dying in the process with me as his only lifeline to the outside world left. If only I had never jokingly said he is a punk unless he stays there for a night. The way he took up on that so quickly, texting me this video of knives flying around the abandoned motel.

Nightfox Reports: There’s an App for That
File this under “never whistle while you piss”, because apparently people are just not paying attention thanks to cell phones. In the news you do not hear on the radio or from the television this week, all across Los Angeles and possibly around the world cell phone users are stopping dead in their tracks and chanting, seemingly in a trance. They are doing it apparently at random and often in situations that are dangerous, like while crossing busy streets or while driving on the freeway. Reports of several fatalities in the news indicate the entranced phone users stood still as they were struck by honking cars or drove their own vehicles straight into trees, other vehicles, or over cliffs. Victims of this trance have no memory of it happening but some have reported later having strange dreams they cannot describe or fully remember that nonetheless terrified them. They are noticeably weak and fatigued after being in the trance and seem to be totally unaware of their environment or any physical sensations. At least three victims seem to have been robbed while under the trance and one female victim in Hollywood was apparently sexually assaulted while chanting in the parking lot of a nightclub. None of these victims have any memory of the attacks against them and only know they were victimized because of clothes and other possessions in disarray or missing entirely upon coming out of the trance.

The 2026 Northeast Ohio Flap
There are moments when a place becomes active in a way that defies easy explanation, when a series of events occurs so close together in time and space that coincidence begins to feel insufficient as an answer. In early March of 2026, such a moment unfolded across parts of northeast Ohio, specifically in the wooded, rural stretches of Portage and Trumbull Counties. Over the course of just a few days, multiple witnesses, independent of one another, reported encounters with something large, upright, and profoundly unsettling.

The Cabin in the Forest That Remembered Us
A chilling psychological horror story set deep in an isolated forest where four friends discover a cabin that shouldn’t exist—and something inside that learns, imitates, and remembers them. A slow-burn nightmare of reality distortion, mirrors, and survival horror.

Tiger's Tale. Content Warning.
Tiger knew she was dreaming as she beat the windshield of the cherry red chevy ss with the long cow bone. She beat for all she was worth until it broke. Rage like nothing she’d ever felt filled her, it swarmed inside her like angry hornets. Suddenly, she opened her eyes awakened from the dream by a draft of cold air from the window as a storm rolled in.
