Living in a Haunted House
In almost every city, there’s at least one house that is rumored to be haunted. Typically, no one lives there, maybe it’s been on the market for longer than anyone can remember- very few people would want to live in a haunted house. And there are some very good reasons not to want to live in a haunted house, don’t get me wrong- but if you really think about it, the reasons for wanting to? They’re even better.

What to make of the directorial debut of rocker Glen Danzig? The Mother singer has made a movie that is either one of hell of a comic troll job or an Ed Wood level, earnest abomination. Verotika is a three part anthology movie featuring three stories loosely tied together by a nonsensical interstitial storyteller who may be a vampire or a demon or The Devil? That’s where the bizarre, confounding journey of Verotika begins.

'The Walking Dead': Everything That Needs To Be Done In Post-Production Before An Episode Airs.
The Walking Dead fans have been left disappointed by the news that the show's season 10 finale will be delayed, now set to air as a 'special episode' later in the year. Post-production work on the finale was unable to be completed before the COVID-19 pandemic sent much of the U.S into lockdown.

A Review about The Fall, The Night Eternal, The Strain by Guillermo del Toro & Chuck Hogan
The Fall began when the young Abraham heard her tell the legend of the evil that lurks and waits in the dark. Decades later, a plane landed at JFK airport in New York, but, something was wrong. The plane has been 'muted'. No lights, no noises from pilots or passengers. Everyone died and mysteriously drained their blood. The total solar eclipse coinciding with the death sentence on the plane was also the time when the demons' breath came to the surface. No more light, dark night dominates, vampires invaded the whole world like a giant pandemic that is constantly spreading and destroying. From here begins the war of the living to protect humanity and defeat the conspiracy of the devil.

Infectious Horror Movie Marathon
The Corona Virus has had a dramatic impact on our society in recent weeks, I had recently started a new job but, like many others, found myself laid off due to the business having to close during the pandemic. I have turned to my movie collection and am using them to pass the time. While watching them I decided to watch ones that would get my mind off the current pandemic, but this only led me to wonder what movies would represent the pandemic best.

Creepy Creatures and Myths #1: Looking For Almas, Finding None
I have discussed the Almas before, back when I wrote for the website 1428 Elm and did my Call of the Cryptid series. In many ways, I'm trying to get back into that habit, because I occasionally like discussing cryptids and strange phenomena. As I stated about the Almas back then: "The Almas are described as 'ape-men' inhabiting the Caucasus and Pamir Mountains of Central Asia, and the Altai Mountains of Mongolia. Might they exist?... There are many accounts of the Almas, to the point where the creature sounds plausible (or semi-plausible)."

Darkness Follows
My name is Blakely Lynn. I’m 32 years old. I live in southern California. When I was 17 years old, I used to live out in the country in northern Tennessee. The only house that was even remotely close to us was our neighbors house. I would occasionally babysit their three kids. This was also back in 2003 when cell phones really didn’t exist and everyone still used their home phones. What I am about to tell you is something so scary, that I am already shaking and have goosebumps just thinking about it. I have never been in a situation that has literally scared me to its core. Due to this situation, I have nightmares every night. I am afraid to fall asleep, let alone, close my eyes. This is my story.

Folklore: The Eerie Curse of St Mary's Church
In a sleepy village in England nestled in a small wooded area there sits the ruins of a church. If you didn't know it was there you might miss it as the nature surrounding it has consumed it and camouflaged it well amongst the trees. It is one tree in particular situated on the grounds that this tale was born from. A single oak tree that has grown up through the middle of the church.
